These are so very quick and easy to make...I have made this Triangle Gift Boxes for a number of years now and they have come in very useful. You can make three sizes (or more depending on your size of cardstock). These two are just half a sheet of A4 Cardstock. The Pale Plum on is Half a Sheet cut widthways and the Perfect Plum one is half a sheet of A4 Cut Lengthways. Therefore from one piece of A4 you can get two of the same size box.
I had been using the Mr & Mrs Stamp Set for my Class this week, so I made these two using that set. We will be making these Boxes on Monday night at Craft Club but using a Different Stamp Set. I used the Forever Flowers Stampin Around Standard Wheel to decorate the cardstock in Perfect Plum. This size wheel is the smaller one and there isn't a cartridge in Perfect Plum so I just inked it up rolling it on the Perfect Plum inkpad instead. This is a cheaper way of inking up the wheels, but to be totally honest if they had a smaller size perfect plum cartridge, I would buy it as its so easy with the cartridge inside. The wheel is constantly inked up......Oh Um!
I added a few bits from the Pretties Kit to decorate the front of the box. The pearls are just so great for Weddings - Don't you think? The nesties label dies just fitted on the front.
I used Elegant Eggplant ribbon to close the box and stamped the sentiment, then punched it out using the Oval Punches. Still not fed up with them. The Ovals and the Circles will always be my favourites.....
The main circle image is lovely cut out leaving a white border. You can punch out the dottie centre with the 1 3/8" circle punch. I stamped the image again in Pale Plum and punched out the centre and layered it up on top of the Perfect Plum one. The rhinestone is from the Pretties Kit. The flowers were coloured in with the Pale Plum and Mellow Moss Markers.
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

These are just as nice as the other Mr & Mrs projects....and congrats for UStamp!
Lovely projects!! So appropriate as a wedding box -- very nice colors!
Hi Jenny
You are so talented, you kindly showed me how to make the box lengthways at the ringwood show but from your post they are just as nice widthways. I don't know where you get all your ideas from but everything on your blog is truly stunning. I must try and get to one of your classes at some point. Hugs Julie
