Bigshot Club - Backyard Basics

Evening Everyone,

Been really busy prepping for my Stampin' UP! Extravaganza this coming Saturday.

We are using the Spiral Flower die, I had to cut over 600 flowers for one of the projects and the table decorations!  Cor!  Glad I LOVE my bigshot.  You can cut 4 flowers at the same time.

Don't forget your TOMBOW ladies if you are coming on Saturday!

It was Bigshot Club on Monday evening.  We used the Backyard Basics and matching framelits for this month.  I used the lovely Gingham Garden papers.  Lovely spring colours, Fingers crossed Spring is on its way.....

Petite Petals Tri-Shutter Album Ready....

Afternoon Everyone,

Well we are still here after all this horrid weather.  The noise from the wind was so loud last night!
Our shed roof has blown off for the second time this year at the allotment.  It is so heavy to move back in place.  We've been really luckily that its landed away from things we have growing.

As requested by you, I have found the time to do the instructions for my Anniversay Special Card/Album that I made for Muriel back at the beginning of February.

The instructions are on the right hand side if you want to have a go.
You do need two pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock.

Hope you have a nice weekend,

Scrapbook Club - Happy Valentine's Day.....

Hello Everyone,

The sun is out finally!  Not for long so the weather forecast says!

For this month's Scrapbook Club, I decided to go for a You and Me Layout especially as it so close to Valentine's Day.

We had a lovely morning this morning,  I made use of the lovely valentine products we still have available.  The notelets are pre printed around the outer edge but I used the Flowerful Heart stamped in real red and cut out with the heart framelit.  The smaller heart is from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set.

For the little gift, a little heart tin with a smelly candle.  Nice smelling mind you! and a bit of chocolate....
The bags came with the tags and bakers twine, I just stamped the heart on the tag and added a itty bitty flower with a rhinestone to it.

The heart tins are from

The candles were from sainsburys.

Our full heart punch fits the top of the tins, which was embossed with the decorative dots embossing folder,
Free during Sale a Bration.

This is the You and Me Layout.

I went for Black, Real Red, Coastal Cobana and Whisper white colour combination.  The papers are the New Mini Paper stack in the Mini Catalogue.

I used the chevron border punch along the edges.  Had this punch for ages and finally used it!
The ampersand embossing folder was used for the middle and I embossed the YOU and ME with the arrows embossing folder.  The Real Red layer was stamped with the Language of Love stamp set.
The Hearts are the mats for photo's and the smaller heart is the Full Heart punch

This is the other half of the layout.

Three mats for photo's and three journalling tags hidden behind them.
They were made with the angled top punch.

The language of love stamp set used again here for the smaller hearts, which were punched out with the tiny heart punch.

Another tag was made with the paper from the prints paper stack.  It's great you have lots of designs and four of each one.  The sentiment You and Me here is from the Perfect pennant stamp set in the Mini Catalogue.

Hope you have a happy day on Valentine's Day,

Spring Mini 2014 Card Buffet......

Morning Everyone,

Cor! the weekend went so fast!  Maybe it was because I spend a fair bit of it stamping! and not ironing.....:-)

We are doing the Card Buffet Class this week and these are the first 10 cards I have come up with.

I went for the Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron and Coastal Cobana colour combination for most of the cards which co-ordinate with the Fresh Retro papers.

All the stamp sets used are from the 2014 Spring Mini Seasonal Catalogue.  You can view it online on the left hand side or ask me to send you a copy.

There's lots of sets to colour, who doesn't like to just sit and colour right?

Anyways, if you want to join in the instructions are on the right and they have a full list of what goes in each basket if you're doing them as a card buffet.
