Poinsettia Place Suite

Morning Everyone,

Are you ready for Christmas Crafting?

If you have been following me for years, you will know that I love Christmas Crafting and we are so lucky this year that the Stampin' UP! Christmas catalogue is launching a whole month earlier than previous years.  Can you tell I am excited?

The very first thing we buy at Christmas is a Red Real Poinsettia, even before our tree goes up on the 1st December.  Got to spread out the festive period just a tiny bit!  I always start a new knitting project on the 1st December but only after the christmas tree is up and the lights are on!
Anyone else the same?

When I saw this catalogue, I quickly flicked through the pages to find the poinsettia stamp set and Stampin' Up! hasn't disappointed me, there's a whole suite just on Poinsettias!

My First card I made is a full A4 gatefold, I just love how gatefold cards stand.
Its two sheets of card stock scored at 7.4cm, 14.8cm or 2 3/4", 5 1/2" if you are using inches and are in the USA.
For the centre of the front layers I used the Celebration Label dies which are a gorgeous new shape stitched die set with stitching in the outside and inside of the die.

The colours are from the designer series papers poinsettia place, so soft suede, real red, old olive and garden green.

I decorated one of the new mini paper pumpkin boxes that are in the annual catalogue.

The stamp set poinsettia petals has gorgeous poinsettias and holly plus lots of really useful sentiments for this holiday season.

oh my goodness! the Plush Poinsettia speciality paper is velvet on white vellum,

These poinsettias were stamped in crumb cake and shimmer paint spritzed over the top,
so hard to take a photo of the shimmer.

Just my first play with the Poinsettia Place Suite,
I can't wait to make more but I suppose I better get dressed!

My Christmas Catalogues are arriving today,
So drop me an email if you would like a copy.

If you have been shopping with me  already, don't worry your name is on the list and they will go out next week.
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
