My Stampin' UP! Craft Room.....

Morning Everyone,

Right then back today after another busy week of sorting out stuff for Robert who's off to University on Friday.  Just the food shopping to do on Thursday!  Ironing and Washing lessons all done....Lots of things to do that MUM normally does behind the scenes are now showing up! hee hee  Bless them.

Here are the photo's that I promised that I would show you, the main reason why I have been so busy this Summer.  We used to have a little potting shed at the end of our Garage, which kept needing replacing, so I asked VERY NICELY if I could have the place instead of putting another shed up!

My Lovely HUBBIE of 26 Years TOMORROW, Happy Anniversary Roy!

He Said Yes to me adding the area to the end of my Craft Room.  It's only 2m long by 1m deep, but what a difference that small area has made for me.  It's like having an open cupboard really, but it does show you have if you only have a tiny area in your home, you could fit enough in there to have a Craft Room.  Put your thinking caps on if this is you.....

All my cupboards are WALL cupboards from B&Q, even the ones sitting on the floor as they are only 300mm deep, which is perfect for the size I was used to.  They are white gloss slab doors.

This is the view at the end where I sit during class times.

The other end of the garage has the display area, which has also been changed.  I used to have a tall cupboard to the ceiling, but I swapped it for a shelf and cupboard to display all my creations.

Bigshot Classes...

Spring Extravaganza Projects.

Card Chests with Class Projects.

Scrapbooking and Bigshot Classes.

The other side has my Tea and Coffee area, more samples.

I have three notice boards with tiny shelves above from Ikea.

More samples with New In Colours.

So back to the other end of the Craft Room.

This is my Cardstock area, Punches, and stuff I need during classes.

Embossing Powders, rhinestones & pearls plus baker twine on the top shelf.
Blendabilities, Stamping Write Markers, Washi Tape on the middle shelf.
My pens, calculator, personal name stamps and Appreciation Gifts on the bottom shelf.

Appreciation Gifts for orders, joining clubs, bringing along new members etc for my ladies.

I made a New Banner using the Celebrate Kit and the Flower Frenzy.

I made some shelves for my stamp sets.

So behind the gap in the New additional area on the left, I have a double cupboard.
Then the pen, marker, ink pad holder from Stamp n Storage.  This was Mary Fish's fault as I loved her room with it in.  It was quite expensive as its shipped for the USA.  I added a shelf to the top to display my baskets for projects.

The worktop goes all around the new area, its only 45cm deep but perfect area for stamping and leaving out stuff!

The cupboard holds all my gift bags, note boards and boxes ready for decorating.

I found the perfect stool in B&Q again for £27 and the drawer units on the curver plastic weaved ones.  They hold lots of bits and bobs! The grid paper is perfect for stamping on, I go through tons of these pads!

The cupboard under the worktop on the left holds my designer papers, which I kept in the stamp n storage cupboards, which fitted inside the cupboards by chance.

I fitted two of them inside with a tiny gap between them for stuff!  I have to pull out the drawer unit to get to the other side, but that's not a problem.

The other side is a repeat of the left hand side.  I sort all my ribbons in the 3.5" drawers in the other two stamp n storage units.  Plus I have all my Scrapbooks behind the other door, ready for finishing.

The cupboard above has my envelopes, stationery and Project Life stuff.

Back to the Right hand side as you come in the top door is my Bigshot Area and my ink pads I use in class.

The cupboard above has all my spare glues, tapes and stuff!

The shelf holds my tapes, glues, dimensionals for class, plus some in colour ink pads that wouldn't fit in the stand.

The cupboards on the floor open like this and all my lovely Bigshot dies and embossing folders are here.  The little mats are from Dunelm Mills, they are dinner place mats in felt.

My cupboard on the end holds all my clear blocks and clear bags for classes.

Hope I have given you some inspiration of how to get a Craft Room if you only have a tiny place.

I will be back to regular daily crafting from next Monday.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny :-)xx

Oh, this is such a wonderful space! The way you've got things organized has me almost giddy with delight. I've got an extremely small space in which I do my crafting, and I do like the fact that it forces me to be neat and tidy, because otherwise it would be unpleasant. I find that I really can't create in chaos, although I know that it works well for some people. A very Happy Anniversary to you and your fella – my husband and I just had our 35th last week. Time really does fly by!
