My Sweet Pea Stamp Class......

This is what we made for My Sweet Pea Stamp Class. I mixed the stamp set with the Framed with Love set from the Mini catalogue as well. All the papers are from the huge Sweet Pea paper stack.

The Sweet Pea papers co-ordinate with Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink & Rose Red cardstock.

We made this version.

This is the other colourway. I added some of the Felt Flowers to the Milk Cartons in this class. You get loads of flowers and leaves in the pack, extremely good value for £6.50. They are on page 13 of the Mini Catalogue.....

Right then, I have to try and get my two teenagers bums off the sofa today, as there are dents forming already. I scared them on Friday when they broke up with school, telling them that they are going to learn some life skills this summer - For instance learn how to wash and iron their own clothes............I must be MAD!!!! That should get them moving......hee hee

Autumn Splendor Stamp Class......

We made these for the Autumn Splendor Stamp Class this week. I decided to make some Male Cards with this set. The colourway came from the Autumn Meadows designer paper pack, but in the end I only used a tiny section of the paper. The leaves are gorgeous in this stamp set and would work perfect for a one sheet wonder, but I wanted to use them with the sanded background stamp as well, so I stamped all the layers seperately this time. With the added buttons and linen thread, they look really rustic. I love Autumn.....

I made some of these No Cut Box's for the Prize patrol at the last Extravaganza. They are really diddie and the clips work perfectly to hold the box closed.

The plasterer is getting on well with my room, he will be back Monday to finish off. Then I can get in there to paint and get new carpet.

We have been so busy with the allotment, its my hubbie's hobbie and I love to help him. It's so relaxing and so enjoyable looking after the plants and watching them grow. Look at this monster of a cabbage! I had to take a photo as he pulled it up and it was nearly as big as him! hee hee Bless......

Right I'll be back later with the My Sweet Pea Stamp Class instructions.

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather.

New Craft Room!

Hello Everyone!

Sorry its been ages since I have updated my little old blog but lots have been happening!

Cutting a long story short, I have been having my Craft Room extended, so all my lovely Stamps are under covers at the moment. Once me and the Girls convinced my poor hubbie that his beloved scooter needed a new home, its been all go.

One minute my room was nice and tidy, then the next minute Janette (Mrs Motivator to her friends!) and I got the hammers out and knocked down the dividing wall!!!! It was great fun but it was the hottest day to do it and we were both covered from head to toe in plaster. She only popped in for a coffee!!!! hee hee Thanks Janette.

As always its not just the one job that needed to be done, the new home for the Scooter had to be found and then new slabs had to be laid. Poor thing has never been wet before and now its been covered in concrete dust etc! It's getting done though and the plasterer is in there at the moment doing the walls and ceiling for me.

So from September, I will have a few extra places available each week. I am also doing a couple of extra classes each month, so if you fancy coming along email me and I will let you know when there is space. See the list on the left.

I am a bit behind with all that's been going on, but I hope to get the classes that we have done over the last few weeks, done so check back over the weekend.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Merry Moments Christmas Cards Stamp Class.....

Happy 4th July!

Where Oh! Where did June go to?

Soon be Christmas! :-)

This is my Stamp Class Project for Tuesday. It's an assortment of Christmas Cards using four different Stamp sets. Season of Joy, Tree Trimmings, Dasher and Medallion.

It's nice to get a little ahead with some ideas for Christmas Cards. We are normally so busy with all the holiday prep, that making lots of Christmas Cards in December feels like another chore, but making a few in the months up to Christmas I find much more pleasurable. All I need to do is write in them then in December and get them posted.

These cards are actually 2 for 1. Depending on how you have stamped the images on the layers, you will get a different look. So two ideas really using the same products. Therefore the class includes 8 cards.

I used the Merry Moments Paper Pack. I'll be sad to see this paper pack go come 1st October. I only actually used 4 of the patterns, the pack has 4 more that I didn't use.

Included in the Stamp Class is a Bonus Project for these Gift Baskets. The folded flowers are fun to make and the baskets co-ordinate with the cards for a matching set.

The large basket is shaped, just add some stamped tissue paper - Very Pretty.

Using the same size cardstock, you can make a different basket again.

Again the class includes both centimetres and inches.
I hope to get some Stamping done this week!
Thanks for looking:-)
