Piece of Cake......Anyone?

One slice of Cake made! 20 more to go!.......

I saw this idea over at splitcoaststamper and also Michelle, another UK Stampin' UP! Demonstrator made one for her Craft Show. So I have cased the idea, but using the Baroque Motifs stamp set instead. You have to make 11 pieces for the bottom layer and 11 pieces for the next layer. I might just make the bottom layer if I am short of time, so many flowers to cut out....

The colours are Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Very Vanilla. I added the top layer so I could leave the inside open as I am going to fill each slice with Stampin' UP! Goodies., If you book a workshop with me at the Ringwood Show you can have a Slice of Cake and all the goodies inside.
I finished the back off, with a flowers and ribbon around the middle to look like the icing. I used the scallop border punch to finish the edge.

I watched the Hairy Bikers Cookery show on Cakes and they went to a place where they showed you how cakes were decorated - it is an amazing art - and you get to eat them! Unfortunately you can't eat this one:-)

We are off to Devon for the Weekend,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Hi Jenny

What a fab idea, I think it's brilliant. Wish I lived near enough to come to one of your workshops (I'm up in North East England!).
