I have finished all my work for now and finally caught up with my washing so I decided to work with Beate's Challenge. Take a look at Beate's Blog, she does the most amazing cards.....
This card had to be in the Z Fold design. I took a piece of A4 and cut it in half length ways. This was then folded in half and then the front was folded back to the left hand side. The other photo shows this better. The card stands up so well with this fold.
The base card was black. I used the beautiful swirl stamp from Baroque Motifs to stamp in versamark and embossed with black powder on both sides on the left and right.
I stamped the images from Home is where the Haunt Is stamp set on white card. I sponged all over with more mustard and pumpkin pie ink. I layered this on some black and then some pumpkin pie cardstock.
Before I taped this to the left handside of the card I added some ribbon.
For the witch, this holds the card closed.
I punched a 2" circle in pumpkin pie card. Then a scallop in black, next was a 1 3/8 circle in pumpkin pie. I stamped the moon in pumpkin pie on white and over stamped with the witch in black. This was punched out with the 1 1/4 circle punch. The 2" was taped to the back of the card, then the rest of the layers were lifted up by a double foam pad for the height, to be able to slip the front of the card behind.
The sentiment is a penny black stamp, on white card, sponged with pumpkin pie and the tree was in more mustard. I used the corner rounder to finish the corners of on the card.
I really love the Earth Elements colours.
