Spring Sneak Peek.....

Morning All,

What a wet old day. Perfect day for crafting though!

I had a play with my Spring seasonal catalogue yesterday, ready for my Downline Meeting on Thursday.

I needed something to keep me busy yesterday as it was my son's driving test. He passed!!!!! So proud of him, on to my next son now in April!

The paper pack used on these note books is called More amore speciality.

It has two sheets of gorgeous hearts.

I decorated an inside pocket for notes as well.

These are the matching gift bags.

I used the full heart punch for the small heart.  Then another super project in the middle, some builder brads.  I used the new itty bitties stamp set for the heart middle.

Right must dash,
Thanks for looking

Stampin' UP! Bingo......

Hello,  Not sure what's wrong with blogger but it won't let me upload a photo in the normal way.

Every year I do a little Thank You Appreciation Christmas Party.  Every year we have played BINGO!  This year we had stamped sheets hee hee!

And Every Year I always managed to get the game completely wrong, so instead of there being one winner, everyone wins!

It's great fun though and I loved making these sheets with the Bingo Stamp Set and Jolly Bingo Pieces.

They are in the main catalogue.

Stamp Classes start again on Tuesday 8th January, so better get on.

Bigshot Club - Holiday Stocking

Hello Everyone,

Back again today with my Bigshot Club projects that we made before christmas.  We used the Holiday stocking to make a gift box and the HO! HO! HO! Stocking Banner.

They are all so sturdy as they are not just cardstock layers, the bigz die cuts through cardboard as well.  The Onboard cardboard layers are on page 160 of the main catalogue or you can make great use of the thick sheets that come with the glitter cardstock packs or speciality paper packs.
Great recycling project!

I filled my stockings with a cello bag of goodies.

I used the co-ordination cardstock and sanded with the sanding system from the Autumn seasonal catalogue.

The matching project was this fun Stocking Banner.  It will last must longer as its not just thin cardstock, so not just for one christmas.....

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)

Two Tag Santa's.......

Good Morning,

Gosh! I have so many things to show you that I made before christmas and didn't have 5 minutes or good light to take photo's.  It was lovely and bright yesterday, so I managed to get some things photographed.

My sons teach Karate and they asked me to make the students a little something for christmas.  One of my downline gave me a swap of a little santa face, thanks Jane, so I decided to make 50 of these cute little chaps for the karate students.

They each hold two of the kinder chocolate sticks.  You need to cut two of the scallop end tags using the two tags die. Then score about 1cm or 3/8" along the bottom of each tag to join them together.  Then on the front score just under the scallop edge, on one tag only.

The face is made up using the 1 3/4" scallop circle in pretty in pink.  The beard is the same in white cut in half.  The hat is another one in red but only 7 scallop, emboss with the lattice folder.  The nose, and bauble is 1/2" circle punch.  Googlie eyes from seasonal catalogue, still on until 31st January.

I used some basic black 1/8" taffeta ribbon to hold the tags together after I slipped in the two chocolate sticks.

I used the medium cello bage and some lucky limeade bakers twine to close the bag with a mini tag using the 1 1/4" scallop circle, 1" circle and the mini punches in the seasonal catalogue.

The basket was from the range ages ago.

Have a great day and get out those stamps!!!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Sale a Bration 2013 and A Happy New Year...

Hello Everyone,

A Very Happy New Year to you all.  Hope you had a nice Christmas break and ready to get back to crafting!  I know I am.  I have been so busy decorating our home since the end of September but its nearly all done now, so Crafting here I come.....

Stampin' UP! are celebrating 25 years in 2013 and it looks like its going to be a very exciting year ahead.  First up is Sale a Bration which starts 22nd January to 22nd March.  I have had a little play this New Years Day with a FREE product which you can achieve during Sale a Bration.  More details will be available soon, but until then here's a Sneak Peak and a little tutorial for a card box for you, to get your crafting juices flowing!

The Happy Hello Simply sent card kit comes complete with die cut cards, printed envelopes, sticker flowers, bakers twine and rhinestones.  Firstly I made a new calendar for the New Year.  It's actually one of the die cut cards opened out and added to a piece of Basic Grey cardstock (which isn't in the kit)

I used the stamp set Memorable Moments for the numbers and frame, which was cut out with a label framelit.

I used another card base for a New Year card.  The numbers were punched out with another SAB Freebie and tiny curly label punch, so cute!  It fits the numbers perfectly.  The numbers were stamped on one of the printed envelopes in black stazon, then punched out using the new punch.

The die cut sticky flowers were added with 3d foam pads.

Half of the die cut base cards have the Hello sentiment already printed on them, perfect for a quick note.  I added a small piece of basic grey card under the front section for a different look.

I used one of the base cards to make a card box.  The base cards that come in the kit will NOT fit into this box but the Note Cards and Envelopes on page 160 of the Main catalogue will fit inside perfectly.

Take a piece of basic grey cardstock

22cm x 21cm
Score along the 22cm side at 1cm, 4cm, 18cm, 21cm
Score along the 21cm side at 11cm, 14cm

or

9" x 8 1/4"
Score along the 9" side at, 1/2", 1 3/4", 7 1/4", 8 1/2"
Score along the 8 1/4" side at, 4 1/4", 5 1/2"

Cut away the long side sections with part of the thin sections as shown below.
Cut along the score line on the middle section as shown to form two side tabs.
Add double sided tape on the thin sections and the two tabs as shown below.

Use the two middle tabs behind the short sides with the tape.

Bring in the thin sections to join the back of the box.

The box base will look like this, the higher section is the back of the box.

Take a die cut card base and score along the top of the blue printed section, its about 1 1/4" or 3cm from the centre score line.

Turn the card base over and add double sided tape to the section that is not printed on the front.

Add the die cut card to the back of the box base, the higher section.

Use the sticker flowers to make a closure for the card box.

I took two large flowers and stuck them together, so they were no longer sticky,

Layer up some of the smaller ones with 3d foam pads and add a rhinestone.

On the back of the flower only add 3d foam pads to the bottom half, which will allow the lid to sit behind the flower and keep the lid closed.

Add the flower to the front of the box base.

Slip the lid behind the top of the flower to close the box.

This is the completed card box ready for the note cards and their envelopes.

Ask your local Stampin' Up Demonstrator for a copy of the Sale a Bration Leaftlet.

Email me for your copy if you don't have a Demonstrator.

Happy 2013,

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
