Morning Everyone! Gosh its been a busy Summer. There I thought my two sons didn't need me to entertain them this year, but lucky old me they still want their mum to take them out! It's been lovely......They are 16 & 17 hee hee.
My Youngest got his GCSE & AS Level results this past week and he passed them all. He got 9 A Star's and 3 A's plus A's in both the AS Level's. We are so very proud of him. I was pleased that I didn't go on the Incentive Trips, I kept the snacks coming! Boy my Boys can eat!!!!
I finally had a chance to play with my Preorder from the Huge Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue. It goes LIVE to you on the 1st September and it is Gorgeous!
Some of you might know we have allotments and grow some lovely veggies. Well this summer we have been busy preserving some of the produce. We made Marrow Chutney, Brown Sauce (Perfect for Bacon Butties!), Blackcurrant Jam, Blackcurrant Jelly and Redcurrant Jelly, so far.
We are off to visit our family today and we are taking some goodies with us. I used some new fabric coming in the seasonal catalogue and the scallop circle die, to make the covers for the jars. They were finished off with some lucky limeade ribbon.
The stamp set is called Perfectly Preserved! It has matching framelits WhooHoo! Look at the little Jam Jar die cut with the framelits, its so diddie.
You can see the decorated jars here.
I found some lovely baskets from NEXT and made a padded liner with the rest of the fabric, plus a little card to match.
Thanks for looking.
Jenny:-)xx
