Bigshot Club - Printed Petals Two Tag Class

Evening Everyone,

Where are these months going?  July soon so surely that must mean I can start making Christmas Cards????

It was the Bigshot Club last night.  Those ladies make me laugh!  There's something about the Bigshot club that makes them giggle.....

We revisited the Two Tag die for some Quick and Simple Cards & Matching Gift Tags.  I used the Printed Petals stamp set in Elegant eggplant, Melon mambo and Lucky limeade.

I used the two tag die to make a holder for the Gift Tags, Wrap it up in a Cello Bag for a Pretty Gift.

Summer has started early for my youngest, All exams over, just have to wait unti 23rd August.  He is Bored already bless him!  It's a long time out of school but they do did the rest before it all starts again for Sixth Form.....

Right then, I'm having the rest of the evening off for a change to watch a Movie, Well that is when the TV is free of CRICKET!!!!

Everything Eleanor Mocha Cards & Gift Box Stamp Class

Afternoon Everyone,

This is the second class for the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set.  It is a large stamp set and comes in two cases, so lots of lovely elements to choose from.  I went for Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla for my colour combination.  They co-ordinate so well with the Mocha Morning Papers. Some of the cards have flowers in one colour and some have them in the opposite colour for a different look.

I used the Simply Scored Board to make the box and the rosette, super tool it really hasn't been put away much lately!  Which is great.

The Gift Box is just over the 4 x 4 but uses normal sized cardstock NOT 12 x 12, which is always useful.  It does fit a large body butter tub but perfect for a hand made bracelet, wrapped in stamped tissue.  All about the details!!!!

Here it is with the matching card.

I have a couple of places available for Wednesday Evenings Class, so email me if you fancy coming along.

Anyway, more dreaded ironing, Oh What life would be if I didn't have to iron!!!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny x

Happy 50th Birthday Janette.....

Hello Everyone,

Just thought I would show you a Gift I made for my friend Janette who will be celebrating her 50th Birthday Tomorrow.

I made an album in a tin using the Simply Scrappin kit Tea Time.  Janette wanted to have 50 on all her cards.  I wanted to get 50 of something and Janette had mentioned that she like these chocolate diplomats from Thorntons.  They sell them by the tray!  There were 50!  hee hee So I made the box to hold two layers of 25. One a week for nearly a Year! Bless.

Inside the Tin is the album.  It is 8" x 6" and only takes half a pack of the Tea Time Scrappin kit.

It has lots of pages and sections for photo's and journalling.

The colour combination is Early Espresso, Pool Party, Pink Piroutee and Lucky limeade.

The sun has been out most of today, which has made a change.  My youngest only has one more exam and then they are finished.

My Next Extravaganza 27th October in Poole and its open for Booking.  Places secured with a post dated cheque for £35 dated 1st September.  Places are limited so its first come first

Email me for more Details.

Stampin' UP! Summer Mini Extravaganza

Hello Everyone,

I have done my Summer Mini Extravaganza's for the last two saturday's.  One here in Poole and One is Yeovil.  As it was the Diamond Jubilee in June for the Queen, I decided to go with a Red, White and Blue Colour Theme with a hint of PINK!!!!

The first project was a Large Box Frame using the FREE Bright Blossoms Stamp set that everyone received in their goodie bag.  The frames come from IKEA, Black ribba ones and they are 10" x 10" big.  They are available in white as well.

I used the twitterpated paper for all three projects.

For the second Project we used the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set in riding hood red, baja breeze, basic grey.  Isn't the riding hood red pleated ribbon gorgeous.  I LOVE this ribbon.  The project is two cards and a Tea Caddy full of Tea Bags.  The link for the Tea Caddy is on the instructions.

The Third project was a Diaroma Card and Matching Framelit Gift Bag, using the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  We used island indigo, riding hood red, blushing bride and baja breeze. The little gift bag is big enough to hold 3 x 3 mini cards.  The Diaroma card will fold down flat to fit into an envelope.

This is the Registration Desk.  Everyone got a goodie bag with their free stamp set and an agenda pack. The Elegant Bird Bigz die was used to decorate it. Inside the goodie bag was an assortment of ribbon for the day and spare to take home.

This is the Agenda pack with a decorated notepad, pen and badge.  The Mixed Bunch stamp set was used for most of my decorations, its so handy when there is a matching punch!

This is one of the table's set up.  The little boxes on each place had some jubilee love hearts inside.  The centre piece was made using the simply scored board and the twitterpated paper.  Again the Mixed Bunch stamp set was used to make the centre's and even the butterflies.

I decorated a tray bake cake with our Flag in Raspberries and blueberries to look like a Union Jack - well nearly hee hee

This is part of my display of samples.

 And another table of samples

This is my Dear Mum.  She works so hard making all the Tea and doing the cakes for these all day events.  I love her dearly and so glad she got to stamp in Yeovil with the Crafty Bunch.
Thank you MUM xxxx

These were the Prize patrol Table Gifts.

Little envelopes made with the Diagonal Plate and Simply Scored Board.  They held the prize of the Bakers Twine inside.  The colour of the twine was the same colour of the envelope.  The Mixed Bunch stamp set was used again!  These are all in colours which will still be available until next year.

This is the cake table.  I always buy far too much and my boys mug me and my mum when we get home to see if there are any cakes left over!!!!!

We had the crafters choice competion again and lots of super projects entered.

Sue, Caroline were the winners. Thank you ladies for making such a great effort to enter.

This is Sue's wonderful creation, so much work.

These gorgeous bags were made by Alison. Wow!  Love the Twitterpated fabric.

This lovely lady is Margaret from the Yeovil Extravaganza.  Last year I made a pleated Christmas Tree as the centre piece for the Table decoration.

On Saturday she brought me the one she made using my instructions.

Wow!  I was so honoured that she brought her gorgeous creation to show me, Thank you so very much Margaret, I really appreciated it.  The instructions are on the right hand side for all the Projects.

Big Shot Club - Mini Scrapbook....& Specials!

Hello Everyone.

Sorry its been ages!  I have been so busy creating for the Summer Mini Extravaganza's on Saturday 9th June and 16th June that I keep forgetting to update you all.

Plus the weather has been super here, so lots of allotment and garden jobs have been done.  It's the Queens Diamond Jubilee this weekend.  I can't wait to see the events in London.  Wish we could go but it would be too busy.  Hope the weather holds off for everyone, it must take a lot of planning.

Right then back to Crafting!  Last night was the Bigshot Club.  I do believe I am running out of Bigshot dies!!!  hee hee Never...

This time I made a Mini Scrapbook with the gorgeous Attic Boutique papers.  I used the scallop square, two tags and the lots of tags dies.

There's lots of places for photo's, hidden tags for journaling.

You only need one sheet of backing cardstock that comes in the packs of designer papers.  This makes the Mini Scrapbook quite sturdy!

You can see the open scrapbook here.
