Bigshot Club - Milk Carton Gift Boxes......

Hello Everyone....

It has been lovely weather here. My boys have been taking me out and about, so not much crafting is getting done, but they are such wonderful company. We went clothes shopping on Monday, which with two teenagers is not normally my kind of fun but we had lots of laughs. Mostly at my expensive I may add!!!

We went to see Harry Potter on Tuesday which was really fab, so glad we saw it in 2D not 3D though. There looked a very funny preview of a film with Jim Carey in it with some Penguins. I asked my youngest if I could go and see that with him and he said no way as you would be laughing too much - Embarrassing Parent!!!! hee hee

Although my weekly classes aren't on during the Summer, the Bigshot Club is.....

This month I used the Milk Carton Die. This sort of die has cut lines and score lines, so you really do need the crease pad to get a professional look and takes half the time in folding it.

I used the Sweet Stitches paper from the Mini Catalogue with Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and some Chocolate Chip. Lovely Summer colours....

We made the Wide Bird Gift Box. The lid lifts up, so you don't have to damage the box to get the chocolate inside out!!!!!!!!!

We made a hexagonal box with a fancy top.

The instructions also include this Double Milk Carton Gift Bag, very summery with the flowers on the front and back...

I first thought the daffodil delight was so bright, that I would never use it, but actually its a really nice colour and can be toned down by using other colours!

We are off to the Milton Abbas Street Fair on Saturday, looks fab.

I will be taking orders for the New Stampin' UP Catalogue which will be coming out 1st October, Email me if you want to order a copy......

Have a nice weekend.

Christmas Waterfall Album.....

Hello Everyone...

I totally forgot the time yesterday. I had my monthly Downline Meeting with my local girls and we were having such a laugh that I lost all sense of time.

Email me if you fancy coming along to a Downline Meeting for a taster session. This month is a brilliant time to join Stampin' Up as you have until the end of December to meet your Quarterly Minimums. Plus you get to see the New Catalogue EARLY!!! The starter kit is fantastic value at £119.

We made the mini waterfall album for the Extravaganza in June but this one is a larger version ready for Christmas. It is really like an extra Large Card, with plenty of spaces for photos and journalling.

The colour combination is Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and a hint of Early Espresso.

You just pull on the hidden tab to flip all the pages to reveal a new photo.

You can add glitter to front if you so wish for an extra glistening winter scene.
We are off to the allotment for a family Dig! The weeds are really just growing at the moment in the new one plus I might be in big troub as the contract came through and the sheds should be Green or Brown, unlike the very bright Marina Mist Blue we have painted it!!! Oh Um....

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, My Boys have both broken up today for the Summer.

Winter Post Stamp Class.....

Hello Everyone....

We used the Winter Post and Lovely as a Tree stamp sets for this weeks class. The colour combination is Cherry cobbler, Always Artichoke and Early Espresso. The class has a couple of flat cards, well only one layer is popped up, so it will go through the post on a normal stamp, that is if you use dimensionals!

There are a couple of easel cards and then we made matching Top Note Gift Card Envelope holders ready to pretty up those gift cards for Christmas gifts.

How many Christmas Cards have you made so far?

Check back tomorrow for another Album....

Stampin' UP! Extravaganza......Yeovil

Yesterday was The Crafty Bunch Club Stampin' Up! Extravaganza in Yeovil, Somerset. We had 20 wonderful Ladies come to stamp all day. WOW! I was blown away by all the talented ladies. They made me and my mum very welcome indeed and I thoroughly enjoyed all their company on a raining day.

The ladies made all these projects, using the Baby Blossoms Stamp Set, Owl Punch and the Strength and Hope Stamp set which they got to take home with them. Strength and Hope Stamp Set is our SU Charity Stamp Set and for every set sold Stampin' UP donates a £1.....

The Hall was very spacious and has plenty of tables etc. East Coker is a lovely village and it was nice to drive there in the daylight for a change!

Thank You again The Crafty Bunch for inviting me to share Stampin' UP! with you all.

Prize Patrol Gift Wrapping..........

Hello Everyone....

I am going to Yeovil tomorrow for the Crafty Bunch Stampin' UP! Extravaganza. I'm all packed, hope it all fits in the car!

These are the Prize Patrol Gifts. I used the In Colours as my colour combination. I just love gift wrapping don't you? It's brilliant to have the products that all co-ordinate with each other, Stampin' UP! ARE SO Good at that.

I used the Bigshot to cut the Top Note and Beautiful Wings Butterflies. The middle is one of the Four Frames and the sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess Set which you can earn for FREE on a £150 order plus an extra £15 worth of products.

My Lovely Mum is coming along to Make the Tea and I will set her a space as well so she can Craft. She has made some super Wedding Cards this week and I was lucky enough to see them.

Right then off to sort out an ironing pile as he was quite warm here this afternoon and lots got dry!

I'll be back with the photo's of the Ladies tomorrow.

Look what I found trying to Stamp!

Just look what I just found trying to climb into my drawer of designer paper!

A Gorgeous Lizard! The photo doesn't really do him justice as he had a fantastic colour of Old Olive on his belly.

He didn't look happy that I caught him using my Stampin UP Ruler and an empty tub of Staples Pens! Or Maybe he didn't like Sid looking in the tub at him making funny noises....

He is now back on the Heath!

Four Frames Stamp Class......

Hello Everyone!

We did this class ages ago but I have been so behind with uploading it. I saw these huge Herskey Kisses in our local Asda and that's where the shape for this box came from. My husband thinks I am completely mad buying something in a box and then making another box for the gift to go in!

But there really isn't anything better than making someone something and I just love things to co-ordinate, hence why I LOVE Stampin' Up! Products - Don't you?

I mixed River Rock with Soft Suede and a hint of the Springtime Vintage paper. The stamp set is called Four Frames and Yeah! it has the Decorative Label punch to match.

The cards have lots of embossing and some faux patchwork, which looks like material with the tiny flowers. This effect looks fab in christmas papers as well.

This box is 4" x 4" square but with the dented sides.

We have been bombarded with flying ants and hover flies here. The seagulls are having a field day eating them all!!!

Have a lovely evening, its Wednesday Stamp Class for me.....

Holiday Hoopla Stamp Class...

Morning All,

What a laugh this morning! We always seem to get giddy when we use Two Step stamping images. Yes we are doing Christmas all month, so this set is called Holiday Hoopla. It's very cute!

I went with Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Poppy Parade and Bashful blue for the colour combination.

All the cards only have one layer popped up again, as I wanted to show cards this month that could be posted using the cheaper stamp prices.

In the class is the matching gift box which only uses one sheet of A4 cardstock or a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" for the box base, then the scallop lid is seperate.

Look what I found in the middle of my washing on Saturday!!!! ONIONS and this person was behind them. Cheeky fellow......Good job they weren't the Garlic.

Hope you have a good day.

Contempo Christmas Stamp Class....

This class is for Sharon, she has been asking me to make the little Table gifts that I made everyone last year at our Christmas Extravaganza.

We are doing Christmas in July all Month and this is the first one, using Contempo Christmas Stamp Set. Hooray for the Ornament punch being back in stock, its very popular as its so very quick to make some easy simple layer cards ready for Christmas.

I used the Jolly Holiday paper which is only available until the end of September with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock.

I used the Champagne Glass Glitter as I think it looks like old fashioned christmas tinsel, it catches the light lovely.

This is a larger version of the Ornament Window Gift Boxes, its a good size box with a window on either side. You can see I decorated the inside of the box base as well.

More Christmas to come! I will be organised this year.....

New Allotment.....

This is our New Council Allotment - finally of being on the waiting list for over 5 years, we have this little piece of growing space. We are so excited, we have been up there this weekend. This is the shed, it is huge! My husband LOVES it. Well I thought I would give it a coat of paint. I went for Marina Mist hee hee..... I'll show you when its finished. All it needs is some Gingham Curtains! Not sure i will be allowed up there anymore.....

I was telling you the other day about the Rat Hole - Well its NOT a Rat but a Lovely Fox! When we went up there last night to do some more painting, he was sun bathing on our plot. He looks very clean, he got up and walked off and then I saw him spying on me through some long grasses! How cute.

This is his home - I think he was doing some re arranging as the hole was even bigger today.
Our Uncle gave us some Gerkin seeds a few months back and now we have these little fellas!
We have been watching some ladybirds forming, this is what they look like just before the wings start to form.
We picked our garlic last week, Look how many we have. These are the babies from our ones we grew last year.
Look at the size of the Sage plant! It's the ladybirds keeping it healthy by eating all the bugs.
Back to cards tomorrow.
