Where oh Where did a week go!!! My friend Lesley asked me last Thursday to come up with a couple of samples of Wedding Invitations for her daughter who is getting Married in July.
I made this one, one with Together Forever and one using an old sale a bration set polka dot hearts.
Lesley's daughter chose this one using the Love Much stamp set and the lovely bridemaids papers......
I embossed the bridemaid paper with an embossing folder, Gosh! that paper is gorgeous. Well the number was 40 at first, so bit by bit over the weekend in between digging at the allotment, helping put up some fencing and redoing my ribbon storage by Sunday evening 40 was nearly complete except for the inserts and glittering etc.
A quick phone call and the number went up to 80!!
Beautiful
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jenny
ReplyDeleteNow I know you are completely mad......only you could even consider making 40 of these at such short notice and make them so intricate....and then tackle the other 40 on top.
You're a star and I am sure Lesley must be thrilled not to mention the bride to be. Just beautiful
Those invitations are so pretty but what a lot to make!!

ReplyDeleteHi Jenny. Have loved your work on U Stamp with Dawn & Friends! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJust happened upon your blog and today's title "Wedding Invitations" lured me in! My niece just asked me to make some for her August wedding! So I am curious where you put the announcement, and the reply parts in your card. Are you {{please}} able to send me a pic or description of how you did that, too?
Thanks muchly!

Absolutely stunning Jenny!
ReplyDeleteJenny the invitations is beautiful are you going to share the inside? Would love to see it!
ReplyDeleteStunning what a lucky Bride!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I should show as it has the printed insert on it with all the ladies details.
ReplyDeleteI layered the insert onto pink passion cardstock and embossed a strip of the paper to run across the top and added the three heart punch outs in the bridemaid paper to match the front, Very lush
Absolutely gorgeous! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the class? I want to buy it and now i can't find it. :(
