I must have feed every animal possible during our holiday. The bread on the veranda was for my favourite ROBIN!

Santa's Little Helper............My sister in Law came away with us and she brought Sid a Santa's Hat. He was not impressed!

We had Pheasants, Rabbits, tons of different birds and this little guy!
We feed them all well. The birds had the turkey fat with bread set in it, they LOVED it! Even the Cat that lived at the Lodges had some!!!!!
The Squirrel though, came back every day and nearly knocked at the window. He would come to the kitchen window and look in, Well I was feeding him honey nut cashews from M&S!!!!!
Hee Hee I bet they were either glad to see the back of us and all our food scraps, or they are all pestering the next guests that are in the lodges this week........:-)
Anyway Hope you all have a good day,

Stampin' UP! Classes - Appreciation Day

This morning was my Christmas Appreciation Morning for my lovely Tuesday Ladies.

I saw this Santa on Nitestampers Blog a little while back and he's such a cheeky chappie, I just knew I had to make one and these are what I made. Pull up Chocolate Slider Cards.....

The reindeer is off Monica's Lovely Blog. When I went to Germany for the Very First Stampin Up Convention in November, Jo and I went to a great shop and I found some lovely tissues with GingerBread Men all over them. The reindeer fitted them perfectly.

I showed my hubbie and boys what I was making last week and they just raised their eyes and asked when would Tea be ready!........
The chocolate inside is Lindor..........MMM Every crafter has to have chocolate when they craft.

The punches used were Word Window, Scallop Circle, 1 1/4", 1", 3/4" circle punches.

The tissues were a standard packet size.
Every one got a goodie bag to take home with them. This is what was inside......

The stamp set pressie was wrapped in some Merry Moments paper and the top was decorated.

So Many Santa's in one room.........

At Convention Shelli Gardner, the owner of Stampin' UP! demonstrated a lovely project. I decided that we would all make one as a treat for my Appreciation Day Today.
The chipboard journal's are super for altering, This is the one the ladies made. We used the Sunny Day Scrappin Kit and So Tweet chipboard.

I decided to put dividers in my journal using the round tab punch. The covers were added using the spiral punch which makes the job easy!

This journal is very similar to Shelli's one she demonstrated, using the Sense of Time and Medallion Stamp Sets.

I saw a card with the Owl chipboard on it over at splitcoaststampers and tried it for my other journal. The stamps are Good Friend stamp set.

His wings are made using the scallop circle punch. His eyes are 1" and 3/4" circle punches.
Pop over to the gallery at splitcoast stampers for more ideas using these chipboard pieces.

Right then! I have 7 boxes of paper work to get done by Friday Morning. My Boys break up on Friday at Lunch Time and I am aiming to be on Holiday from then on.........
Until then, I have some more christmas cards to get written and posted!!!
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Circle Circus Calendar Stamp Class.....

Tomorrow is our Calendar Stamp Class. I decided to use Circle Circus stamp set and warm colours. I loved the colours of the circle circus bags that were on sale at Convention, and thats where I got the inspiration for the colour combination.

We will be making the coaster calendar tomorrow.

The class instructions also include a calendar template for 2010, which I stamped all over and cut up for each page.
The other calendars are from stationery shops.
I just wanted to show you what my MUM made!!!! Remember I gave my mum the slider box of cards early in the year (which is the same as my Rose is a Rose Square slider box class).
Well this is what my Lovely MUM made all by herself. You did a fantastic job Mum, I LOVE IT.

We are having our Christmas Party at Craft Club tonight, so must dash.

Good Friend Robin.....

We had a riot in Stamp Class today!!! My cheeks are still hurting, we were laughing so much. I'm sure someone is feeding laughing gas into my craft room! What a better way to spend time crafting and having a laugh.....
We made the Good Friend Cards this week using the Sunny Day papers and colourway.

The papers are lovely but to try and break away, I made this card. I stamped the bird in Creamy Caramel and then again in Ruby Red. Then I used the large oval punch and punched out part of his belly. I stamped the bird again on Chocolate chip cardstock and just cut out his wing. I paper pieced the bits onto the Creamy Caramel bird and cut it out.

The star stems were stamped randomly at the bottom of the whisper white layer and two chocolate chip legs were added. The sentiment is from occasional greetings stamp set.

Good Friend Stamp Class......

This is my next class on Tuesday. It's using the Good Friend stamp set and the Sunny Days Scrappin Kit. Its been raining here all weekend and these cards certainly brighten things up!
The Sunny Day Scrappin Kit papers are gorgeous and coordinate with Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquiose and Old Olive perfectly. I wanted to use the To Tweet chipboard as well in the class but when I went to get it from my craft room, I realised I hadn't actually ordered some!!!! Shock horror - I didn't have any. So I will have to wait until next week when it arrives.

The class includes a Joy Fold card and a double slider card.

The Bonus project is a box made from coasters, covered in the sunny days papers.
You could fill this up with lots of goodies or just use it to decorate your craft space.

Right then, off to finish the ironing! Yes I have a pile again......

Season of Joy Stamp Class........

Hello, Sorry for the lack of posts this last week. Its been mad here with my work - VAT figures just wouldn't balance. Now thats all done. Horray!!
Plus it didn't help on Monday when I dropped my camera, running in from the craft room when he was raining cats and dogs. The card came out of the camera and while the camera still seems to work, the card wouldn't load my photos of the Season of Joy class. Hence the instructions only ready for loading.

For the Season of Joy Class, I decided to make lots of ideas for Gift giving based on the christmas table.
We made a simple card, a Puffy Box, a mini gift bag and a Cracker. All using Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Very Vanilla colour combination. I usually use Old Olive and Real Red when I pick up the Season of Joy stamp set, so this was a nice change!

In the instructions, there are a couple of other projects. A pop up card and a decorated candle holder.

Right, I'm off to get some bits for my son, who will be 15!!!!! on Saturday.
The instructions are on the right if you would like to purchase the stamp class. Great Value for £2.50.

Jenny:-)xx

Greenhouse Garden.....

I am still photographing my samples I made for my launch party. The stamp set is Greenhouse Garden. I fell in love with the sample in the New Stampin Up Catalogue and this set was first on my wish list. The first set was all soft subtles.
The new Medallion stamp is behind the main image on this one. I stamped it in Pretty in Pink and cut it out. The sentiment is Oval All stamp set, punched out using the oval punches.

This is my version of the card in the catalogue. The other background stamp is En Francais stamped in Certainly celery.

This is a Puffy Box, One will be in next weeks class.......

These colours are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Apricot Appeal.

Another puffy box, the button is threaded with a strip of cardstock and I used the pricking tool to curl the ends.

The sentiment is Sincere salutations.

Another Easel card, can't stop making these.
Must dash,

Tree Decorations......

Last November at the Ringwood show, I did some tree decorations. I used the triangle boxes to do 12 days of christmas on my tree instead of an advent calendar for my two boys. They said they were too old for that sort of stuff!!!!! Teenagers! So when I put the 12 days of christmas boxes on the tree, they kept asking what was in them! Our tree normally goes up around the 5th December for some reason, so for days they kept asking what was in the boxes. I said I thought you said you were too old for tree gifts! Hee hee

My two boys only have sweets on a saturday, as they have never had particularly good teeth, so to get sweets for 12 days in a row was indeed a real treat. The last box on christmas morning, had two memory sticks in them! They couldn't work out what they were for, as they said XBOX on them and they didn't have an XBox............

At the back of the tree was a big box for both of them.....................With an XBox inside. (No! it wasn't a big triangle box made by me! I should have thought of that one..)

So last weekend when we were discussing where the tree was going, my two teenagers asked Are we having the 12 days of christmas boxes on the tree this year!!!! Ha Ha

This one using a whole sheet of A4 cardstock, Real red. The toppers are the same in the card candy from the Spotlight on christmas stamp class this week.

This uses half a sheet of A4 Cardstock, its a mini ME! Again using some card candy on the front.

This is also a whole sheet of Brocade Blue, the stamps are from the perfect presents stamp set. Cute snowman! He was glittered using the two way glue pen and dazzing diamonds glitter.

This is half a sheet of A4 cut lengthways, the brocade blue cardstock was inked all over with the bold snowflake wheel. I also used the wheel on some whisper white, cut out one of the snowflakes and added it to the image with a clear rhinestone brad.

The snowmen are from the Tags for All stamp set.

You can find the instructions for the christmas baubles on Fresh & Fun blog on the right hand side. She has a video on the double bauble. You will need 2 x 3" squares and 2 x 2" squares, each cut into 1/2" strips. The hat pins and beads are from the pretties kit.
