I finally finished the Book a Party Cake for the Ringwood Show on Sunday. I first saw these cakes over at Splitcoast stampers and then I saw a brilliant version over at Michelles Blog, another UK Demonstrator. She did a fantastic job and I knew I just had to try it too!
Boy! What a lot of work, It slipped my mind about all the flowers I would need to cut out. I should have done the cake with the Boho Blossum Punch and One of a Kind stampset, Hee! I only thought of that when I was cutting the last tiny flower from the Baroque Motifs stamp set.
Do you like the pink cake stand? These are at Dunelm Mills near the Range.
The slices have pressies inside each one, Rubber Stamps and A £5 money off voucher. Book a party with me at the Ringwood Show and you can take home a Piece of Cake......:-)

Crazy for Cupcakes......Making me go Hungry!
I've been making these cards today, using the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set.
I was telling my friend Yvonne, that the boys had the WII on this morning and the music was so loud and fast, it was making me stamp faster!!! Hee! Crazy.
All these images were stamp in Chocolate Chip then coloured in with the SU Markers to match. The cardstock used is Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink and the Sweet Always beautiful papers.
I love all the cherries on the top and wish my cakes look like these when I make cupcakes. Although I did make a chocolate cake on Tuesday using the Betty Crocker Icing and it was Delicious (Its all gone!)
I can't make up my mind which part of the cupcakes I like the glitter on, so you can see, I tried allsorts on these cards.
Love! Love! the Stamp a ma jig, especially for this Happy Birthday stamp, you can line it up into a circle perfectly.
Talking of birthdays - Its SID's birthday today - He is 1 years old. We love him to bits and we are so lucky to have found him. As I write this he is licking my ear and touching me on my shoulder! Think its time to get off this Computer!
Edited to Say Blogger is uploading my photos in a different order, for some reason, Not sure why!

Crazy for Cupcakes.....
I cased this card from a card over at splitcoast stampers, Dawn (Teasure Oiler on my blog roll) had done a fantastic job and I didn't change much. Very clean and Quick card to reproduce if you need a card in a couple of minutes.
Change of colours to Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink. Do you like the glittered papercases? I also went around the icing in Regal Rose marker after colouring it with Pretty in Pink first.is is a square card, 10 x 10, coloured in the darker colours. I used the Stamp a ma jig to place the Happy Birthday sentiment in the correct place. The 3/4" circle punch was used to allow the ribbon to sit correctly. I used the Scallop Border punch down the left hand side and pricked it with the pricking mat.

Old Fashioned Christmas......
Its half term holidays here, so sorry I haven't been keeping to my usual daily updates. These are a few of the cards I have been making for the Ringwood Paper Show, on Sunday.
They are all made using the Old Fashioned Christmas stamp set, its a great one if you love to colour. I based the colours on the Holiday Treasures Paper Pack, I did worn you that I love those papers!!!
This is a quick and simple card, just paper and lots of colouring. I used the SU Markers which are great, as with all Stampin' Up products all the colours match perfectly. I added some dazzling diamonds for the tree tinsle. The sentiment is a Hostess Stamp Set - Free for orders over £150 or Party sells over £150, Best Yet.
This is a Z fold using the Father Christmas and some rectangle nesties. I used the stamp from Perfect Presents for the circles that hold back the main image, What? No Scallop circle you ask - Believe me I tried it but I had already stamped the Christmas Wishes so it wouldn't fit......
For the Father Christmas, lots of colouring again, The script was used on the whisper white which is a cuttlebug die I forget to use, but I though it went well with the Old Fashioned look. The paper on this card is Old Olive Designer Paper and I used the 1/4" Chocolate Chip ribbon to hide the join.
I am busy making a box for these 3 cards, but I haven't finished it yet but will upload it when I do.

Piece of Cake......Anyone?
One slice of Cake made! 20 more to go!.......
I saw this idea over at splitcoaststamper and also Michelle, another UK Stampin' UP! Demonstrator made one for her Craft Show. So I have cased the idea, but using the Baroque Motifs stamp set instead. You have to make 11 pieces for the bottom layer and 11 pieces for the next layer. I might just make the bottom layer if I am short of time, so many flowers to cut out....
The colours are Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Rose Red and Very Vanilla. I added the top layer so I could leave the inside open as I am going to fill each slice with Stampin' UP! Goodies., If you book a workshop with me at the Ringwood Show you can have a Slice of Cake and all the goodies inside.
I finished the back off, with a flowers and ribbon around the middle to look like the icing. I used the scallop border punch to finish the edge.
I watched the Hairy Bikers Cookery show on Cakes and they went to a place where they showed you how cakes were decorated - it is an amazing art - and you get to eat them! Unfortunately you can't eat this one:-)
We are off to Devon for the Weekend,

Decorated Christmas Tree...........
Well here it is the Christmas Tree I will be taking to the Ringwood Paper Show on Sunday 2nd November, at the Leisure Centre - Entrance is only £2.50.....
I have seen lots of things on Blogs and Splitcoaststampers and I thought I would have a go and make some for my tree.
Most of my decorations are made using the punches! Guess which one I used the most???
Yep the Scallop Circle Punch.....Correct. Hee! Love it.
I used it to make the hanging chocolates, which are elizabeth shaw mint crisps. So quick and easy to make (when you have a production line going thanks girls:-))
The stamp in the centre is from Perfect Presents, in Real Red and Old Olive. The papers used on the whole tree is Dashing.......
This is retired but still available while stocks last. I would love to use the Holiday Treasures papers as well as my living room is similiar colours! Chocolate Chip sofa, Ruby Red sofa, Creamy Caramel carpet.....Hee! I am wearing Chocolate Chip, Perfect Plum and Pale Plum........ Has she gone completely mad You Ask?
The ornaments are also made by using the Scallop Circle punch, I used 8 circles folded them in half and glued them together, and between the last one I added some elastic cord from Stampin' UP. Some of them I added some pearls, beads from the Pretties Kit.
These are made using the large and small tag punch star and you can find the tutorial over at splitcoast stampers under resources.
The little boxes have some chocolates in and when my boys saw the tree this morning they asked if it was for them, bless them. Of Course. The beauty of these boxes is that they aren't glued closed and you can take the ribbon off and fold them flat ready for another Christmas. I did them for 12 days of Christmas so they can take it in turns opening them or sharing one every day. The tree is only 3M high so I couldn't make it into an Advent tree but it would look great on a 6M tree.
The box idea is from Irene the Germany Representative of UStamp, You can join these online classes for a fee, if you join tell them I sent you and for every 7 people you recommend they will give you a free class.
At the very top of the tree and there are 2 others further down, is the Snowflake which I saw yesterday on a fantastic video Monica had done. She is the UK Representative over at UStamp and you can visit her amazing Blog on the right.
Thanks for looking and listening me going slowly Mad!

Garden Whimsy Class Today......
This is the project we will be making today, for the Garden Whimsy Class.....
Its a folder containing 4 cards. I have made a very similiar one with the Polka Dots Stamp Set but with only 3 cards. This one only has one fold but I have managed to get 4 cards by using the clear card protectors to hold each card.
The cardstock used is Rose Red, Brocade Blue, So Saffron, Certainly Celery & Whisper White. The papers are Cutie Pie, I know this is on the retired list but it isn't sold out yet and you might have brought it already, so this is a project which you can use it on. This folder would also make a great christmas gift for someone, we all need a stack of cards ready to write in......
If you fancy coming to one of my classes, Email Me and I will fill you in on all the details. These are also available through Email without the cardstock for £5 each Class.
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Season Of Joy Criss Cross Workshop Card.......
Hello Everyone,
I had a workshop at Sue's today and this is the Criss Cross card I demonstrated how to make. They really are quite simple. You can make this sort of Criss Cross and the taller ones, like the Garden whimsy one on an earlier post.
I cut a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock, in half, lengthways, these were folded in half. I then used my cutter (probably favourite cutter of all time - might have mentioned this once of twice!), to cut the front part of each card away in a diagonal cut, this forms the Criss Cross.
I then used double sided tape to attach both pieces of card at the back, ie sandwiching them together. I added some Holiday Treasure paper to the front, which is 14cm x 10cm cut in half diagonally. Don't you just love the double sided papers?
I then taped one half down along the bottom and then I taped the other side down also along the bottom and part way up the front, ie forming the pocket for the insert.
You can see the insert here. I used the round tab punch for the part to pull out the insert, with a Season of Joy poinsetta flower, stamped in Ruby Red. The insert is 14.5cm x 9.5 cm in Old Olive and then 14cm x 9cm in Very Vanilla. I stamped the tree in Old Olive, also the swirl and then the tiny flowers in Ruby Red.
For the centre of the card I added 2 scallop squares and 2 poinsettas stamped in Old Olive and Ruby Red. Three gold brads were added to the centre, if you make the holes fairly close the brads mount eachother to look like berries.
This is the a Box in a Bag made using the same Holiday Treasures paper, I think you might be seeing this alot.....
Measurements for a normal size Box in a Bag are:-
4 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of cardstock, score at 1" on all 4 sides and make a box bottom.
5 1/2" x 11" piece of Designer paper, double sided tape all along the bottom and one side.
11" x 1 1/2" piece of cardstock for the scallop edge to finish the bottom. I used the scallop punch, but you could use the corner rounder if you like.
2 Round tab punch outs and jumbo eyelets, set with the Crop a Dile.
Ribbon to tie a knot to finish.
I also made a money wallet with the same colours and I used the new Gold elastic cord to hold it together. This will fit into a normal envelope.
Sorry its late today,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Tart and Tangy.......
This is another one if Dannies Boxes....
Using Tart & Tangy stamp set and the other papers from the Summer Picnic paper packs.
More Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
At the bottom of the photo are some calendars, these were made by covering some chipboard with the Summer Picnic paper. I sanded down all the edges and cuttlebugged some cardstock for the back. The magnets are from Staples and hold the calendars to the fridge perfectly, without them sliding down and scrapping a mark on the fridge front.....
The magnets were covered by putting a piece of paper through the xyron machine and then sticking it to the metal, then I added the scallop circles and the stamped fruit!!!!
The little note cards are perfect for using up scraps - although I say this, my scrap boxes are over flowing - so I need to practise what I preach!!!
Its gorgeous weather today, we cycled up to Broadstone through the heath to go to the Saturday Farmers Market. The fish man was there, and we got some fantastic fish. We are cooking it with chorizo sausage, mmmmmm!! I can taste it already. It was caught last night, How fresh is that?
I am catching up with the ironing and washing piles, so hopefully I will get the Christmas Tree finished by Monday, I will show you after I have decorated it. Its for the Ringwood Paper Show, where I will be on the 2nd November, demonstrating Stampin' Up! Come along there are loads of other shops and paper craft sellers. Great for getting ideas for all those Christmas Cards we need to be getting made!:-)

Garden Whimsey
Forgotten Friday!!! I have forgotten to give instructions on these Garden Whimsey cards and box. I made the box from the video over at Dannies Designs, What a fantastic Crafter she is, her videos are brilliant.....
The stamp set is Garden Whimsey, the papers are Summer Picnic and I used Bashful Blue, Real Red, OLD OLIVE (Sorry) and whisper white cardstock. The Letters for the word card is Curly Girly from Sizzix in Real Red.
This is a slider card, as I have made these before, look at previous posts for instructions. I rocked and rolled the tulip head in real red and pumpkin pie inks to get that 2 toned effect.
Quite plain this card, but I love the paper behind it and the silver hodge podge. The girls saw my stash of hodge podge kits yesterday, I think they can tell I love them!!!
This is the view of the heath that backs onto our Garden, it was lovely going for a walk this morning, there was a slight frost and the paper round was freezing!!!
The girls were such a huge help yesterday as I am decorating a Christmas Tree with homemade Stampin' UP! goodies and they helped me make some chocolate tree decorations and some ornaments - Thanks Girls!!!

Making the Most of The Scallop Border Punch
You can make this Scallop Border Medallion with the NEW Scallop Border Punch. I did this on the top of my Baroque Motifs Christmas Card Box. You need to cut a piece of cardstock to a square of 2 3/4"
Start of by putting the square into your punch and line up evenly between the notches, so that you have the punch in the center of the side you are going to punch.
Turn your square and do the same on all four sides.
There you go a little square medallion, I used 4 of the Square Scallop punch outs to go under this on my box and added the cut out flower of sorts for the centre.

Ric Rac & A Different Border
To make Ric Rac Ribbon from cardstock, Start by punching a complete border of scallops. Take out of the punch and use your cutter to cut a strip 7/8" wide.
Put this strip back in the punch, on the straight side, you can start where you like. As I slid it in the punch for the first cut, I laid it so the scallops already punched were not lined up, the first punch you can't see any silver showing. After you have punched once you can use the black markings on the punch, I found the long notches came in the centre of the top row of scallops I had already punched, therefore positioning the next roll in the middle of them, Therefore forming a Ric Rac affect. Just have a play........
Do You remember how to make a Different Scallop with the Scallop Circle Punch? Well you can use the NEW Scallop Border Punch to make a Borde to Match. Punch the scallops once.
I use the Punch upside down to do this. Go back over the scallops so that you have the red scallops showing and when you punch you will end up with the different border to match the Scallop Circle one.
You join it up just like I said above.
