Just for You - Janette.....Nestie Frames....x
To make Frames using Nestabilities......
To cut the Frame, Start by placing the white thick layer plate in the Big Shot. Add the thin White spacer plate. Add a clear cutting plate. Lay a piece of cardstock, then lay the circle nestie, Add the Scallop Square Nestie. I used the Classic Scallop Square Large and Standard Large Circle nesties.
Add another clear cutting plate.
Roll through the Big Shot.

This is what you end up with by just cutting it, NOW you can emboss it.
Leave the BIG white base plate in the Big Shot. Add the Black plate that come with the BIG Impressions Kit for Big Shot. Turn over the piece of cardstock with the nesties still in place.
Add the rubber mat from the Big Impressions Kit, then a Clear Cutting Plate.
Roll through the Big Shot.
This is what it looks like now.

This is what you end up with an Embossed Square Frame with an Embossed circle centre.
Try only doing the first part of this tutorial ie Cutting the shapes, DON'T Do the second part with the black mats. This will give you a cut scallop without the embossed parts, I then put this in a cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots and this is what I ended up with.
Hope this has helped Janette....xxxxxx:-)

Dazzling Snowflake Spot.............
I grabbed a couple of minutes this morning to stamp! I am doing a class in September on this stamp set - Snowflake Spot. The base card is Bravo Burgundy, half a sheet of A4, folded in half. Pretty in Pink is the next layer stamped all over with the snowflakes in Pretty in Pink and Bravo Burgundy. I cut a frame using 2 nesties and also cut a larger circle one to stamp the sentiment on. I used versamark ink all over the centre piece and added some heat & stick powder to cover it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I added some brads in each corner before attaching this over the stamped sentiment.
I added some Bravo Burgundy wide ribbon, then some Pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon with a knot. I punched out the snowflake and added it to a 1 1/4 circle, which I pricked all around the edge.
Tomorrow starts my Week long Blog Candy Moments......There will be Blog Candy every day until Friday....So Until then, hope you have a nice weekend,

Wild About You......
Have I told you how much I love the Whisper White cardstock?
I must have.......Because I am Wild About It!
For this little card, I used all Earth Elements inkpads - More Mustard, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive and Ruby Red.....the same in cardstock. I used the tiny mosiacs cuttlebug folder on the Ruby Red base card which is half a sheet of A4 cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped and then I punched it out using the Round Tab Punch in Old Olive. I punched a second Round Tab Punch and added this to the back, then added the brads. The whole thing was popped up with 3D Dimensionals.
Just a quick entry today - Where has the school year gone?

This is another Z Card, in Bashful Blue, I cuttlebugged the inside this time with the Happy Birthday embossing folder this time.
This is a simple card, which you could easily make a few of.........

Big Bold Birthday Class.........Tomorrow
I am doing my next Stampin' Up Class showcasing the BIG BOLD BIRTHDAY Stampset. I've made other cards showing how different the set can look using a different colourway. The first set is using the Cutie Pie Paper, Rose Red, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and So Saffron cardstock.......
I took the colours from the Cutie Pie paper and added some basic black as the tiny flowers on the paper are outlined in Black so it blends in nicely.
I made an Explosion Box full of gift tags, using the set & Cutie pie paper.
This is another Slider Card, same measurements as on previous posts. I used Heat & Stick powder to make the balloons dazzel....The inkpads in the Uk catalogue are just dye ink so they dry instantly, but to emboss with them to get the colour, first ink the image with versamark and then ink the image with the SU inkpad and then stamp onto whisper white. Add the Heat & Stick powder and heat with a heat gun. Then add the Dazzling Diamond glitter and heat to set. Hey Hoo the glitter doesn't come off when you rub it.......Great!!!!!
Anyway Another day closing to the boys breaking up from school, I just love the school holidays. They still want to do fun stuff with me so I take full advantage of that as they are only young once. We always do a timetable for each week or they would just want to stay in all the time......Monkey World here we come next week.

Touch of Nature......
My camera has gone funny on me and I managed to get a new one last night, so just trying it out showing you this card. The stamp set is Touch of Nature, using Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Certainly Celery cardstock. I stamped the bird image on whisper white and used my SU markers to colour in. I then cut it out and backed it with 3D foam pads. The cuttlebug embossing folders are birds and swirls also swiss dots.
I have so much to get done this weekend I feel tired already just thinking about it.

Birthday Hi with Loads of Love......
Sorry I haven't had a chance to Stamp much this week, VAT Returns sure do come around quick! For this card I tried to keep to the layout on Splitcoaststampers Card Sketch for Wednesday. I don't think I have used this Tailgating Wheel before and there was just enough room at the bottom to fit it in. After stamping and colouring in the doggies I ran the piece of whisper white through the Big Shot with Swiss Dots embossing folder. When I ran the snail adhesive on the back, the dots went flat where I had embossed it, so I ran my bone folder over all the dots to flatten them, Hey Ho!
I paper pieced the Loads of Love car on some Old Olive designer paper and used the jumbo eyelets for the wheels with a green SU rhinestone in each centre to finish.
I stamped the sentiment in Close to Cocoa and used the 1" circle punch to cut out then layered this on a 1 1/4" circle of Close to Cocoa and pricked around the edge using the pricking tool and mat.
I coloured the dogs in with SU Markers, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Certainly Celery and So Saffron.
Talking of Dogs - SID was in the Dog House yesterday as he bite through a wall heater electric cable! Luckily it was switched off at the time! We were all chatting at the time. I had a lovely visit from one of my downlines called Maria pop over to her blog and see what she gets up to using Stampin' Up Products, her cards are so YUMMY!
Anyway Busy, Busy,

While I was making the last card, I made a pile of thank you cards and a Get well card. The cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant and Whisper white. The inks are Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red. I punched out the scallop circles and added a jumbo eyelet in the centre. The embossing folder is from cuttlebug Frills for You,

Two Cute......
When the addicted ladies met up last thursday, we ended up mucking about with the Big Shot and nestabilities. We tried to make some scallop edged cards using a scallop nestie, they actually come out quite well. I must admit that I had to run it through twice to cut both the cardstock at the same time but it did cut it. I placed the scallop edge just over the folded piece of Elegant Eggplant to make the tiny card. I decided to add it to the front of this card and hold it shut by a piece of HodgePodge Hardware.
The cardstock used is Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red, Rose Red designer paper and Whisper White. I ran a piece of Elegant Eggplant through my new Frills for you cuttlebug border embossing folder - Cor! What a mouth full.......:-) then added this to the right hand side of the card after I added a piece of whisper white for the inside.
The stampsets used are Two Cute, Curvy Verses, Sincere Salutations.
I used the corner rounder to finish off the front edge of the card, doing this by taking the guard off and joining up the scallops. I then pricked a row using the pricking tool and mat from SU.
Hope you have a nice day,
Thanks for looking:-)

Stampin' Up Classes start tomorrow........
Sorry I haven't posted anything since last week, but I've been prepping for my *NEW* Stampin' Up Classes that start tomorrow....
The first photo shows the actual box and four tiny cards that everyone will make and take home tomorrow. I made one of the Bags in a Box which is really cute, great for holding the Door Prize for tomorrow. The Perfect Presents stamp set goes perfect with loads of punches and makes it easy to do lots of tags ready for Christmas.
I decided to use the same stamp set and show what it looks like in another colourway. The cardstock is Always Artichoke, Sage Shadow and Certainly Celery, the designer paper is WinterGreen.....
I have a workshop tonight as well so I've been busy prepping for that.
My craft room is all tidy now, I now have an area to craft with friends, amazing what you can fit into a garage!!!!
