SC160 Card Colour Combination.......

I promise I will change to a different set next, but when I saw the Colour Challenge on SCS yesterday, I thought what lovely spring colours. I haven't really used the Cameo Coral before, I loved the colour it came out on the Very Vanilla cardstock.
The base cardstock is Mellow Moss, then a layer of Very Vanilla embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I stamped on a layer of Very Vanilla 7cm x 7cm with the Sending Happy Thoughts sentiment and used the leaves as well. When I stamped with the leaf it left a darker edge on one sid by rocking it, which looks like a highlight..... I stamped all the flowers last night and cut them out while watching a horror movie on TV! Surprise they come out OK...Hee! The button is SU as well Creamy Caramel. Also I realised I had some Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon from SU which was the colour in the challenge - Don't you just love when everything matches or is it just me!

I used my new Scorpal board to make this card, which is on the back. Its a 4" x 12" piece of Creamy Caramel cardstock scored at 2", 4", 8" & 10" and folded to make a gatefold card. Great, then you can make 3 cards from one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock.

I stamped the background with the Canvas Background stamp. The first layer is Apricot Appeal, stamped with the Mellow Moss. I added the 3 flowers popped up with the 3d dimensionals and added the squares buttons. The buttons come in circles and squares in the pack. I used the pricking tool to go around the edge of the Cameo Coral layer. I added the ribbon before I taped down the left hand side.

The diddie card is Cameo Coral, Very Vanilla and the rest of the flowers I cut out last night, very plain but I might add it to a origami box!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
