Pick a Petal......Wishes

I started sorting out the Craft Bits & Bobs I haven't been using and ended up buying some new storage units. They were delivered yesterday and I've put them all together and started to fill them up. I hope to get it done today but its been a mad week......

I did make these 2 cards this week.
The first one is for my lovely friend Mary......its her birthday on Saturday - Hope you have a lovely day Mary......

This is sort of a Joy card as it opens up in the middle for a secret message, but I added the outer layer of So Saffron so that it stands up. It is a very heavy card!

The stampsets used was Pick a Petal, Sincere Salutations and Heartfelt Thanks. The cardstock was So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant, also Le Jardin SU paper. The ink was Elegant Eggplant.

The Second Card is a Get Well Card for a lovely lady called Maria and she went into Hospital yesterday for a major op, So Get Well Soon Maria........:-)

The base card is So Saffron, half a sheet folded in half. Then a layer of elegant eggplant, then a piece of the Le Jardin SU paper. I stamped 10 petals, 5 on So Saffron and 5 on the Le Jardin paper. I added a piece of So Saffron at the bottom and added some elegant eggplant ribbon.

Our Craft Club leader said she used Always Artichoke with these 2 colours, which sounds nice, must try that next.

I hope to get my room back to normal today and I will take photos afterwards to show you.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

  1. This is a Fantastic card Jenny and I keep having to look at mine, as I have to also look at my other 2 cards I had yesterday from the other addicted ladies. They gave me lots of pressies, Stampin up of course which was on my wish list, punches mostly as Jenny keeps making these lovely cards and I didn't have the punches to do them with. No more excuses eh! Also I had a birthday cake and lovely flowers and a lovely day making a slider card of Jenny's which Sharon and I kept asking about. By the way my birthday is Sunday not Saturday but who cares at my age.
Many thanks to all the addicted ladies.
    Luv Mary xxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hello Jenny

You don't know me, your link was sent to me by another stampin up lady - to give me some inspiration for using my lovely stamps - I am not that creative but stampin up stuff makes it really easy. I really like your work - I am sure your friends will appreciate their cards.
