Last week I found a card idea on splitcoaststampers that was a card with a lipstick inside it..... I couldn't find any instructions so I had a go myself.
The stamped image is from simply said and the cardstock is groovy guava. I cuttlebugged the front with the divine swirl embossing folder and used the slit punch and the 1/2" circle punch to finish this off after adding a glittered brad from the range.
I watercoloured the flowers by squeezing the lids of the ink pads and using my aquapainter.
When I put the insert in, I added some ribbon first so I could tie it together.
I stamped all over the insert with the 2 step flowers in the Simply Said set, in groovy guava and purely pomergranate inks.
I covered the glue sticks as well to make them more girly!!! :-)
I will do step by step instructions later for you, so check back and have a go.
Have a great day,
Jenny :-)xx
Wow!!! what a fab blog... I can't believe I have missed you in my blog hunting travels... I have been missing out on some fab ideas and eye candy.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind me adding you to my favourites :D
p.s. there is a mini challenge and candy on my blog at the moment if you'd care to take part :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea and what a lovely card. You could also use this for a lipstick as well for someone's birthday perhaps. How you even find these ideas are beyond me. I love looking through blogs but rarely find an idea that I could do until it's on your blog.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work and keep on blogging - I would be lost without your blog to look forward to each day - sad isn't it.
Mary xx
