Noble Deer Buckle Card....

Its my Dad's Birthday and he wanted a book token to buy some more walking maps, so I made this card to hold the gift card from WHSmith....

Its a Buckle card, I took a piece of chocolate chip cardstock 14cm x 22cm and scored it at 12cm to leave an edge. I used the word window punch to punch out two holes for the buckle to go through. The stamp set is Noble Deer, hope this will be in the UK catalogue! I stamped the large image on very vanilla in chocolate chip ink and stippled over with always artichoke. I layered this onto always artichoke cardstock as well.

Inside the card I added some creamy caramel cardstock and stamped the tree line image in chocolate chip, I lined it up with the image on the front, so it looks like a contined line of
trees.

I added some more chocolate chip card 5cm x 11.8cm but only used double sided tape on 3 sides so I can slip the giftcard inside.

I cut a piece of always artichoke 4cm x 18cm and glued this to the chocolate chip, I stamped the family of deer in chocolate chip also. So cute!!

This shows the gift card inside the pocket.....

On the front I added a sentiment of best wishes stamped on the large oval punch and mounted this to a chocolate chip designer label punched out, with 3 brads added I added some foam pads to layer this up. I stamped the fern in always artichoke behind this first.

Have a lovely evening,
Jenny:-)xx
