Swallowtail Butterfly....

Can you believe its the last day of JUNE?
Where did it go....Last day today to JOIN SU with the Special Offer of TWO FREE Stamp Sets with the Starter Kit.

We used the Swallowtail Butterfly stamp to make these large A5 Cards.

The colour combo is Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon.

The papers are actually the In Colour envelope paper pack.

This is the other version of the large card, pretty similar but I added the butterfly framelit to the middle of the layered Swallowtail.
I made a matching gift bag.   Debbie and Val were showing us these  bags and I remembered they are similar, to the Box in a Bag style bags we made about 6 years ago, you can see them early in my blog about 2008, great to revisit something again.

The lace trim was used down the sides instead of a bow.

The dazzling diamond cardstock was also added down the edges with the paper layers.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Allotment Goodies....

Morning Everyone,

Quite a collection of onions and shallots this year.  Look our potatoes recovered from Blight, they are Red Albert Rooster variety.

We have grown Lambs Lettuce for the first time as well, in drainage tubes!

Sid had his first raspberry yesterday, he takes it off his own plant at his level - NOT Spoilt at all!!!

I caught up on Friday with a few Birthdays and Bloomin Buds' Team Pressies.

The stamp set is You're got this in Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.

The little gift bags were made using the Gift Bag Punch Board.

I embossed the flower in gold and also the Congrats sentiment.

The gorgeous lace trim was used to close the gift bag using the punched holes the board does all in the correct place for you.

You only have until tomorrow to JOIN Stampin' UP! and GET TWO FREE stamp sets of any value in your starter kit, which is £99 but you choose £ 130 worth of products of your choice.
Email me if you want to have a no pressure chat, its a brilliant offer.

New Card Chest....

I always make a new Card Chest when there's new papers.
I decided to try the Boho Chic embossing folder for this one in Blackberry Bliss.
It's so rich.
This is the same card chest as the Mocha Morning Card Chest on the right hand side if you want to make one.

All the cards are very simple to show off the embossing folder and matching Bohemian Designer paper.  The colour combination is Blackberry Bliss, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Delightful Dijon.  The stamp sets used are Bohemian Borders on p.96 and Fabulous Four on p.58.

I used the envelope punch board to make the tiny envelopes that fit in the front two pockets.  The normal vanilla envelopes fit in the back pocket with the 8 cards.

The front flap has a magnetic dot as usual from Crafts U Love.

Madeira Incentive Trip Cont.....

Cor! Feeling very light headed today.  On Friday we had an organised boat trip to see the Dolphins and coast line of Madeira.  It was very smooth and relaxing and we got to see some Dolphins!  Although I wasn't quick enough to catch many great shots of them.

During our boat trip we saw another boat!  Just look at the background.  There were farmers growing veggies right next to the beach!

The next day we went up the cable car to the Sub Tropical Gardens.  They were gorgeous just like the gardens in Bournemouth Compton Acres.

Some very unusual flowers.

A beautiful pond and a crazy swan, heading straight for me!

During our visit we came across about 20 chickens loose and also taking in the surroundings.

Then we found the fish and fruit market.  The Tuna were huge.

Gorgeous array of fruit and veg, shame we weren't there for longer but it was lovely to take in the atmosphere.

The girls told me to join Facebook, so doing as I'm told,
Find me here.

Jenny:-)xx

Madeira Stampin' UP! Incentive Trip 2015

Hello Everyone, Its been a while....
Quick catch up, Robert home from his first year at Uni! Collect New Girlfriend from Heathrow, Taylor is from the USA and is staying with us for 3 1/2 weeks.  Nice having a girl in the house as well!
Waiting for New Catalogue order to arrive!!!!  It arrived just before My husband and I went on the 2015 Stampin' UP! Incentive Trip to Madeira last Wednesday, so haven't had a play much yet.

Its the first time we could go together on an Incentive Trip and it felt like a real treat to have some quality time together, although we missed our Boys and Sid, think they missed us as well, we both got lots of nice HUGS last night and tales of strange meals!
Think they want a Roast Dinner tonight as all the VEG was still in the fridge!

We flew to Madeira and after being collected we were taken to this lovely hotel.  We had a suite, which was probably bigger than the whole top half of our actual home.  We had two balconies and the views were amazing.

This is my lovely hubbie of 27years Roy.

We had a Welcome Dinner on the first night and these were the tables set up so pretty.

Some gorgeous watermelon wonder lace trim on our napkin!

This is the whole group of European Demonstrators and Staff.

The food was fantastic, this table was just the desserts.

Breakfast view each morning...

Day One was a trip to NUNS Valley, up the mountain organised by our lovely Manager Paula Gorry.
We had a funny driver, who got us up the mountain and back again, even with lots of hairy moments close to the edge of huge drops.

This is a view half way up.

We stopped for a photo op, this is me x

The view of the little village we were visiting.

In the evening we had a group SWAP event for all the achievers. It was wonderful to meet everyone from Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands and the UK.
This is my Swap.  We had to make 54 of them.  Mine seemed to fill a whole carry on bag!
I used the Mini Gift Bag Framelit for the bag and filled it with a covered Note Book.

I made two colour combo's the New Mini Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.
The stamp set is called Awesomely Artistic.

Lots of cutting out but I really enjoyed making these Swaps.

The white is the NEW Thick Whisper white, it is super for actual card bases, going to go through packs of it I think!

This is the recipe for the Swap.

These are the Swaps I received back, they are amazing!

I have photographed them in sections, so you can see them better.

Here's some more.

And more.

Lots of hard work.

The girls were funny handing out this card, they shouted Surprise every time it was opened!

Lots of Boxes.

I was so pleased I managed to bring them back without getting too crushed.

Check back tomorrow for another update.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
