Christmas Blessings Stamp Class.....

Morning,

We will be using the Christmas Blessings stamp set for today's stamp class.

We haven't done any heat embossing for ages and these images were just asking to be embossed, so I went with gold for a change as well.

I also chose three different ways of colouring in the poinsettia flowers.

We are making a fold out matching gift box as well.

I used the Oval and Label framelits.

Undo the bow and the box opens up to reveal the inside box.

This is the Gift card holder version.

 This is the Money Holder...

This is the Gift Box its actually just over 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square.

Telford Regional Swap Card - Slider Card Tutorial....

Afternoon Everyone,

This was my swap card for the Stampin' Up! Regional Event in Telford on Saturday.

Its a slider card.  The stamp set is called Summer Silhouettes.

I used Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi and Whisper white for my colour combination.

Pull on the ribbon to reveal the inside of the card.

First you will need a half sheet of cardstock for the base card, pocket.

I used tangerine tango, 21cm x 14.8cm, Score along the 21cm at 10cm, 20cm.
For my US friends, half a sheet is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", Score along the 8 1/2" at 4", 8"

Stamp the border top and bottom on the section with the thin section on the right, this will be the front of the card.  Add some double sided tape to the thin section and chop of the corners top and bottom on the thin section.
This makes the sliding action much smoother.

Use the thin section ie tab to join up the opposite side, to make this pocket, for the inside layers.

Use the itty bitty shape to punch through both layers at the same time.  The punch should be pushed all the way in until it won't go any further.  This is the right hand side of the pocket.
Use a 3/4" circle punch to take out a half circle through both layers.

Take a piece of ribbon, I used the lovely wild wasabi stitched ribbon about 50cm ish or 20"
Thread it through the itty bitty punched hole.  Both layers.  Pull out so the front ribbon is the same length as the back.

The insert layers are 14cm x 9.5cm rich razzleberry and 13.5cm x 9cm whisper white or
3 3/4" x 5 1/4" rich razzleberry and 3 1/2" x 5" whisper white.
Decorate with the summer silhouette images.

TIP make sure your sentiment in not stamped in the middle or the ribbon will be going over it.

Insert the inside layers in the pocket, going between the ribbon as shown.

Push the insert in and the ribbon will go inside as you push.
Tie a bow to finish.

Pull on the ribbon and the insert will pull out .....Fun!

 For my outside layers 10.5cm x 7cm rich razzleberry, 10cm x 6.5cm white
or 4" x 2 3/4" rich razzleberry, 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" white
Decorate as you wish, the sentiments are the petite pairs.

I pricked all around the outer edge and stamped and cut out two more flowers.
Use the itty bitty circle punch to punch out the stamped centre of the flowers and finish with popping up this layer on the front of the slider card.

You are finished.....

Why not have a try, I would love to see yours, leave me a link in my comments.

Telford Regional .......

Afternoon All,
Another Month for busy Stampin' UP!  I have just been away to the Regional Stampin' UP! Event held in Telford.  I was lucky enough to go with 5 of my Bloomin' Buds.  We met up on Friday afternoon, all of us having made a long journey.
We had a lovely evening meal, it was a peaceful meal until out came our deserts!  All in all different shapes and sizes which set us off in fits of laughter.  The poor waiter really earnt his TIP!  He soon found out that Stampin' UP! Demonstrators were in TOWN!!!
We crafted in our room until 11.30.  We all did a shoebox swap and made each other a Wow! Swap. Cor! these were beautiful, thanks girls.  I will show you in the week.

The next morning we all headed up to the Venue where the Regional was being held.  There were 300 odd lovely Stampin' UP! Demonstrators.  The Stampin' UP! Team did a wonderful job in providing us all with a Fabulous day, we saw fantastic Demonstrations, learnt lots of exciting news.  I have been a Demonstrator for 5 and a half years now and I am proud to work with such a wonderful company.  LOVE my JOB.....

This is Me, Marisa and Angie.  I am based in Poole, Dorset and Marisa and Angie are based in IPSWICH.  Marisa and Angie do lots of creating and classes with children, who all love these two ladies to bits.

This is Maria and Jill.  They have been with me for nearly 5years and are great friends.  They are both based in Lancashire.  We are so lucky to be having the Stampin' UP! Convention in Manchester this year.  Poor Maria has invited us all to stay on afterwards.

Maria is coming to the Utah Incentive Trip with Me in July, as my hubbie is staying home to look after our two sons and sid!

This is Kathey.  We had a fun drive home from Telford.  Kathey's satnav is OBSESSED with taking us home via Salisbury, coming up to Telford the satnav wanted to go via Salisbury as well.  We made it home finally, thanks Kathey.  Kathey is based in Poole, Dorset as well.

I got thoroughly told off for not updating my blog these last few weeks, so I thought I would show you a few things we having been making in class recently.

My classes are on every Tuesday morning and Wednesday Evenings.  Email me if you fancy popping along to try a class.  FIRST CLASS will be FREE and I offer a loyalty card, Come to Five Classes and the Six one is FREE.

A Z Fold Card.

A Cut away front card.

A Fun layout....using the circle punches.

A Slider Card.

Pull on the ribbon to reveal the inside of the card.

One of my ladies asked me to make some cards using a Retired Stamp Set called Garden Whimsy,

so I used the same layers as the previous cards but used the Garden Whimsy stamp set.

A Z Fold card.  I popped up one of the tulip heads with a foam pad which holds the front of the card open.

A Trio of butterflies.

The slider card, using Garden Whimsy.

Finally the cut away front card.

I will be doing a Tutorial for the slider card tomorrow, so pop back then.
