Stampin' UP! Christmas Extravaganza's.....

Hello Everyone,

Right then this is a long post.....

It was my Christmas extravaganza before we went on holiday and then last Saturday it was the Crafty Bunch Craft Club in Yeovil's turn.

Everyone worked so very hard, as this was a full day of crafting.  Everyone got their own copy of the Chock full of Cheer Stamp Set.  Two of the projects used that stamp set and the third project used the Joyous Celebrations stamp set.

This is my registration desk.

I love to spoil my ladies, these were the table gifts and matching gift bag with the stamp set.  I used the Snowflake Soiree stamp set for all of these, plus the builder wheels to match.

I used the favour box die to make everyone a Keyring with their initials inside.

The colour combination is midnight muse and bashful blue.  I used the apothecary accents to make the aperture on the front of the favour box and then that is used for the front of the bottle.

This was my centre piece for all the tables. I used the gorgous silver glitter card......More on that later.  The huge rosette was made with the rosette die.  I cut three of them and joined them together, so pretty.

This is Project one

This is Project 2

This is project 3.

A Close up of the key ring here.

For Project One, the ladies had a choice.  They could make the Mini Photo Album which was a smaller size of my Snowflake Soiree one (see the Snowflake Soiree class).  Or they could use all the same layers to make 6 Cards, 3 designs two of each.  Both projects fitted into the matching tin.

All the projects used Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and the Be of Good Cheer Paper pack.

This is the Mini Photo Album, with the binder style edging its very sturdy.

And the matching Gift Tin. All six cards fit inside the tin.

Project Two was a Christmas Decoration in a Matching Storage/Gift Tin.
The Banner fits inside, concertina fold.

The glimmer cardstock is very sparkly.

This was Project 3.  A Box of Tags using the Joyous Celebrations Stamp set.

If you want to play along, you can purchase the instructions for all three projects on the right.

Thanks for Looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Stampin' UP! Extravaganza Days.......Sneak Peek

Morning Everyone,

Gosh! It's been a while since I have had time to upload my little old blog!  We have been away on holiday for half term and before that I had the Stampin' up! Extravaganza.  I will upload all the photo's of them tomorrow after I have completed the Yeovil Extravaganza, so not to spoil the surprise for those ladies.

Here's a little sneak peek though!  These are the prize patrol gifts, silver or gold pens for writing all those lovely christmas cards!  They are in the seasonal catalogue if you are wondering where they are.  I used the petite pocket die for the holder and the scentational christmas stamp set and framelits for the images.

The early espresso tulle makes lovely bows and its so very soft..

This is another sneak peek of one of the three projects.
More details to come and YES the instructions will be on the blog next week for you.

I have also been redecorating our home, but after next week, I hope to get more straight.  We had an evening off last night and we went to the threatre to see Mark Steel.  He's a very funny comedian but for some strange reason (maybe because I had stopped working!) I just kept falling asleep!  My hubbie kept elbowing me hee hee to wake up!  Well it was past 9 o'clock........:-)

Check back later for the full pictures of the Extravaganza Days.

At our Bloomin' Buds Crafting Weekend we first made some projects using all the New In Colours.

One of the Projects was this cute Handbag which is a Bigshot die on page 194.  The colours are Raspberry ripple, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit.

I used a Stamp set called Papillon Potpourri which has a matching Elegant Butterfly punch to go with it.  The sentiments are from a stamp set called Itty Bitty Banners which has a matching framelits for cutting them out.  The centre of the butterflies has tiny Dahlias flowers.

Another project was a Gift Bag using the Fancy Favor Bigz die.  The ribbon is the New stitched grosgrain of which there are 10 gorgeous colours to choose from.  The butterflies were punched out with the elegant butterfly punch and layered on to the doilies which is a set of 3 sizzlits.

The next project was a Thank You Note Card.  These come in a pack of 20.

Then we made another two full sized cards and another fancy favor box.  The whisper white shapes are the Apothecary accents framelits and the Chevron embossing folder.  The colour combination is Raspberry ripplie, pool party and lucky limeade.

The last in colour project was another Thank You card and a matching match book voucher booklet.

Maria designed this set for the ladies to make, so you can check out her blog here.

Right off to have a cuppa.  My Eldest has just left to take his Driving Test Today!  It is raining so very much so I am keeping my fingers and everything else crossed for him, as its not nice outside.

Bloomin' Buds Craft Weekend......

Hello Everyone!  Sorry for being missing in action!  I have had a busy couple of months preparing for our very first Bloomin Buds Crafting Weekend.

It was amazing.  My Girls came from so very far from Lancashire, Ipswich and Dorset.  We try and meet up at Stampin' UP! Events and the above photo is way back in 2010 at the London Stampin UP Convention.  Well we decided to have a FULL Weekend of crafting and laughter.

So from Friday 9.30am to 12pm today, we came together and crafted.  A few ladies couldn't come for one reason or another but there were finally 11 of us.  We crafted like crazy!  We haven't had much sleep and my eyes might close by the time I finish typing!

We hired a venue and had a sleep over.  We had a huge table set up for crafting.  I made everyone these table gifts.  The papers are from the New Stampin UP Catalogue - THAT GOES LIVE TOMORROW!!!! They are called comfort cafe.  The little tub is full of snacks,  I did some sewing and made a coffee mug cozy and a decorated tin to hold business cards.

The notebooks were stamped with the Forever with you stamp set and the flap is a BIGZ die called Oval Accent Bigz and its a clear die.

I made three sets all matching.

Another one, the fabric is called Comfort cafe.

The crafting table and dinner table was decorated with these wonderful flower rosettes.

On Page 194 there is a project very similar to this.  Maria kindly had these turned wood made for our decorations and a month back while Maria was down for Training, we made the large rosettes.

This is one of the project the girls made.  I made this decorated Canvas for our Craft Room's.  The sentiment was given to me by Stampin' UP! as part of my gift's from Vienna Incentive Trip.

Sid missed me!  Then he found his favourite place in the conservatory, what a life!

I made this little Thank You Card for all the girls that came along, which I placed on the Dinner table.

We made lots of projects.  I will show you tomorrow as my eyes won't stay open any longer!

Thank you Bloomin' Buds for a lovely weekend.

Love Jenny x

Snowflake Soiree Stamp Class....

Hello Everyone.

Well I am working my way through the New Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue and for this week I used the Snowflake Soiree Stamp set.

I made my class in two colour combinations.  This one uses a new In colour called Midnight Muse.  You can order these now but they will be in the New Main Catalogue which goes live on the 1st October, but for now you can order all the cardstock, inkpads and reinkers.  I mixed it with Baja Breeze and Marina Mist.  The rosette on the front of the Mini Photo Album is the Snow Festival paper pack.

I also used the Greetings of the season stamp set.

For this colour combination I used Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso.  The papers are the candlelight speciality paper pack.

I used the flocked window sheet down the edge of the Mini Photo Album for this version.

They have four double pages on the inside ready for all those wonderful christmas memories to cherish.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Back to School Today.....

Morning Everyone,

Well its onto the next stage of growing up for my youngest.  He is off to the Sixth Form at Grammar today.  He hasn't been to school for a full day since 11th May as he had study leave for his exams, so I better get the cupboards stocked up today, as the first thing my two boys do when they come in is raid the cupboards!!! hee hee

I would have taken a photo of my eldest but he isn't even dressed yet!  He has a 10am start, as he is a year older!

Have you been watching the amazing Para Olympics?  It is truly the most amazing event ever.  I will tell you that I am always at the desk working and I got so excited watching the previous Olympics that the gas seemed to be escaping from my chair lift and went all over my carpet!  I did managed to get the mess cleaned up hee hee but when I came in from class last week my family had decorated my craft chair!

 LOOK!

A little diddie card made with the Kidoodles stamp set.

I used the markers to colour in the image and punched it out with the 1 3/4" circle punch, layered onto the large scallop circle.

The Retired list is going fast so shout if I can help you with anything before its too late.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Ornament Keepsakes Big shot Club....

Hello Everyone,

It was Big shot club last Thursday and we had a play with the New Ornament Keepsake Bundle!

You can find the Ornament Keepsake Bundle at the beginning of the New Autumn/Winter Catalogue.  There are lots of Bundles in the New catalogue seasonal catalogue and if you buy the Ornament Keepsake Bundle of the stamp set and matching framelits to cut them out with the Bigshot then you save a massive 15% OFF.  Thank you Stampin' UP!

I did use quite a few new products in the Bigshot Club and we did have such a fun evening UM!  I must apologise as I just couldn't keep my mitts off them.

The cards are all so very simple, easy enough to make a pile of them before Christmas comes around and if you run out of time, these would help as they really are so very quick to do.

I used one of the NEW Incolours called Midnight Muse.  You can order any of the Incolours inkpads, cardstock and the markers NOW if you fancy any of them.  I mixed it with Bashful Blue.

We have a new Snow Flurry Bigz die which gives you three snowflakes.

This is another set using Lucky Limeade, Real Red and Early Espresso.  The snowflakes were cut out of the Champagne Glitter paper and the candlelight papers.  This gift box uses A4 or 8 1/2" x 11" sized cardstock, you need two sheets.

For a much bigger box which uses 12" x 12" cardstock is a huge 6" box

OH MY! the candlelight Speciality paper pack has two sheets of flocked window sheets, I've used some of it for the top of this gift box.

Wish you could stroke this box!

Yes I did just HAVE to have a quick go at making one of the ornaments on the cover,

I used the Snow Flurry bigz die to decorate the centre and a new bronze button instead of a rosette pleated flower.

We went to the Dorchester County Show today.  There were lots of lovely animals there and also we saw about 30 Border terriers as well!  Sid only had eyes for Bacon Butties, Sausages and CHEESE!!!!!

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx
