2009 Calendar - Live Your Dream.....
My Dear Friend Val Glover kindly got these perspect holders for us at Craft Club. Val had made some wonderful Calendars with Photos inside. If you want to order some of these Perspex Stands Email Diane at Diane@malinowski62.orangehome.co.uk . They are much cheaper from Diane than at Staples.
I used the Stamp Set Live Your Dream and Tea & CrumpetsDesigner Paper. I stamped the flowers in Regal Rose and Old Olive on some Whisper White. I cut it out with a circle nestie, then on a couple of more layers. The Chocolate Chip double stitched ribbon was attached so it left a tab, which I then inserted a covered pen. All the layers were then slid inside the holder and the calendar was attached to the front, then you can tear off the months.
I can't wait to use this set again, the flower stem is really tall and I used to make tons of tall cards.
I made a bookmark calendar using the same stamp set, to match.
We have our Christmas Party tonight, so must shoot!
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

2009 Calendar......
For the last couple of years I and the Addicted Ladies have made a Calendar. We usually take it in turns and do 3 months each and then at Christmas time, Sharon Binds it all for us. We don't know where this year has gone and No Calendar pages have been done, so I found this calendar while blog hopping and thats what I was up late last night making....
Its very similiar to a Calendar I made last New Year but joined the top with keyrings. This was much quicker (Although I didn't get to bed until 11pm and thats late for me:-)). I found the Calendar idea on Cambrias Blog and then she had a link to the one she cased, so I followed that link to Nancy's Blog where she used the Trees for all Seasons and I had been stamping these Trees on Monday Night at Craft Club - so I thought I would case Nancy's and add a few extra touches. Her Calendar was just what I was looking for and I really enjoyed making it. I didn't follow the measurements, as when I printed off the Calendar it wouldn't fit, so my one is 16cm x 28cm folded in half. I used the Stampin Up Basic Black cardstock 12 x 12 and the extra was used to go under the calendar part.....So no wastage.
For the first 3 months - Winter - I used Bashful Blue, Bashful Blue paper, Whisper White and the Best Wishes and More stamp for the Snowflake. The snowflake is a punch by EK Success.
I used So Saffron for the next 3 months. One of a Kind and Boho Blossum punch for the flowers. I cut a scallop square in half for the corners and added Regal Rose brads to the centre of the big flowers.
Old Olive reared her head again for the next 3 months and I added some felt flowers with So Saffron brads for the centre. I attached them with glue dots.
The last 3 months was Pumpkin Pie and more felt flowers with rhinestone brads for the centre.
You can see the eyelets at the bottom of the pages, 2 at the bottom front and 2 at the back. Thread some ribbon through all 4 and tie a knot and this makes the Calendar Stand up. Its very solided with all the layers, so it will last all year without falling apart!!!
You can find the Calendar Dates here - Thanks to Nancy and Cambrias Blog Posts.
Have a go......

Hung Up on Holidays.....
I think I have finished all my Christmas Cards! Apart from a few extra ones......
These are what we will be making for my Class today.
The Stamp set is Hung up on Holidays, using Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Creamy Caramel and Whisper White cardstock. The embossing is done with the Cuttlebug Bauble Bauble embossing folder.
The Stamp a Ma Jig is perfect for this stamp set, to get the Baubles Positioned correctly.
I stamped the sentiment first and then added the baubles. A little Real Red button was added to the centre Star.
This is a Bottle topper. You could add this to a bottle of Wine or a Bottle of Smellies instead of wrapping it up with paper.

Tags for All Class.....
Hello Everyone! Sorry for lack of posts these last few days, but my Actual Work has been getting in the way - How very dare it you say? Then theres my poor kitchen, I am trying to put a second coat of paint on! I am definately doing the painting tomorrow, Now the VAT Return is out of the way for this time.
Have you all done your Christmas Shopping? Well for all of those of you that still need to wrap them up, My Class today was on the Tags for All Stamp Set. This is a set of Christmas Tags, which will never go out of fashion. Some of the individual stamps match other Stamp sets, Can you tell which ones?
Tags are great for using up scraps of cardstock - I hope you are all keeping yours? I do tend to cut my tags out by hand but if you stamp them straight you could use your paper cutter for a quicker way.
The snowflake is from the Snow Flurries stamp set and I used the Snowflake embossing folder to emboss the Very Vanilla cardstock.
I just love these little Snowmen. You could turn this into a card by masking off the To and From part. I used the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to their big bellies:-)
The spotty tag was just stamped and added to a layer of Ballet Blue.
As Arnold Said I will be back!!!

Silent Night....
Just a quick card to show you, I am catching up with home projects this week, so not much stamping has been done!
This card was made using the new Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, Love them! I got mine fron Once Upon a Stamp.....
The stamp set is Silent Night, with Ruby Red, Mellow Moss and Very Vanilla cardstock. The embossing folder is Script. Very simple card, I stamped the Image on Very Vanilla with Mellow Moss and then add some Dazzling Diamond glitter. I cut the base card with the largest die, just going over the folded score line with it so you cut the card with the fancy edge.
Inside the card I stamped twice with the snowflake from the Snow Flurries stamp set and the words are the other stamp in the Silent Night set.
Hope you have a nice day,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

True Friend Ribbon Flower Class.....
These are the cards we made yesterday, Using the True Friend stamp set to make the Ribbon Flower. I have shown you a tutorial in an earlier post to do this..... The Taffeta ribbon is brilliant for this technique. The cardstock is Really Rust, Sahara Sand(neutrals), Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. The paperpack is Spiced Cider.....
The flower is popped up with 3D foam pads. The hodge podge is pewter, which is still in Stock.
I used the SU Markers to colour the image on the rubber stamp then stamped it on the very vanilla, which was cut out using the Nestie Scallop Rectangle Dies. The Taffeta Ribbon is Chocolate Chip.
The Scallop circle, 1 3/8 circle, 1 1/4 circle punches were used on this card. The sentiment is from the Hostess Set Best Yet.
I hope to get back to my normal daily posts, Sorry for not updating as normal, Just been one of those weeks.

Season of Joy Gift Cards.......
My party was at my Lovely friend Tracey's last night. She moved away from us Craft Ladies just over 2 years ago and we miss her alot. Tracey has met new Craft Buddies and What a lovely lot of Ladies they are, so we know she is in safe hands now :-(
To Traceys New Buddies - Hello All and Thank you for putting up with me rambling on and on about Stampin' Up! (although I think you all are turning into Stampin' UP! Nuts just like Me!!!! Hee!)....
These Gift cards are what I demonstrated at the party. They are quite cute and lots of shops sell Credit Style Gift cards now attached to a piece of card, so these are a more personal way of giving.
The stamp set is Season of Joy. The cardstock is Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Very Vanilla.
The measurements I used are:
The base card is 4" x 11".
Score at 3", 5 1/2", 8" along the 11" length.
Fold the cardstock so you form a W shape, so you have the folded centre in the middle.
Then take a Round Tab Punch and punch just the top of the Round Tab punch, where the straight parts stop. Then I used a Large Tag Punch to cut out the rest. You can see the shape made in the photo.
Add Double sided tape along the inside middle top and middle bottom and at the back of the pocket to hold the gift card.
I used the Bold Snowflake wheel to decorate the inside of the Gift Card. Then on the front I added a small piece of double sided tape to hold the ribbon before adding the image. Then wrap the ribbon around the back of the Gift Card and tie a bow.
You can get 2 of these from a piece of A4 cardstock.
Hope you have a great weekend,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Stampin' UP makes Stamping a Piece of Cake.....
I finally finished the Book a Party Cake for the Ringwood Show on Sunday. I first saw these cakes over at Splitcoast stampers and then I saw a brilliant version over at Michelles Blog, another UK Demonstrator. She did a fantastic job and I knew I just had to try it too!
Boy! What a lot of work, It slipped my mind about all the flowers I would need to cut out. I should have done the cake with the Boho Blossum Punch and One of a Kind stampset, Hee! I only thought of that when I was cutting the last tiny flower from the Baroque Motifs stamp set.
Do you like the pink cake stand? These are at Dunelm Mills near the Range.
The slices have pressies inside each one, Rubber Stamps and A £5 money off voucher. Book a party with me at the Ringwood Show and you can take home a Piece of Cake......:-)

Crazy for Cupcakes......Making me go Hungry!
I've been making these cards today, using the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set.
I was telling my friend Yvonne, that the boys had the WII on this morning and the music was so loud and fast, it was making me stamp faster!!! Hee! Crazy.
All these images were stamp in Chocolate Chip then coloured in with the SU Markers to match. The cardstock used is Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink and the Sweet Always beautiful papers.
I love all the cherries on the top and wish my cakes look like these when I make cupcakes. Although I did make a chocolate cake on Tuesday using the Betty Crocker Icing and it was Delicious (Its all gone!)
I can't make up my mind which part of the cupcakes I like the glitter on, so you can see, I tried allsorts on these cards.
Love! Love! the Stamp a ma jig, especially for this Happy Birthday stamp, you can line it up into a circle perfectly.
Talking of birthdays - Its SID's birthday today - He is 1 years old. We love him to bits and we are so lucky to have found him. As I write this he is licking my ear and touching me on my shoulder! Think its time to get off this Computer!
Edited to Say Blogger is uploading my photos in a different order, for some reason, Not sure why!

Crazy for Cupcakes.....
I cased this card from a card over at splitcoast stampers, Dawn (Teasure Oiler on my blog roll) had done a fantastic job and I didn't change much. Very clean and Quick card to reproduce if you need a card in a couple of minutes.
Change of colours to Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink. Do you like the glittered papercases? I also went around the icing in Regal Rose marker after colouring it with Pretty in Pink first.is is a square card, 10 x 10, coloured in the darker colours. I used the Stamp a ma jig to place the Happy Birthday sentiment in the correct place. The 3/4" circle punch was used to allow the ribbon to sit correctly. I used the Scallop Border punch down the left hand side and pricked it with the pricking mat.
