Birthday Blooms Mini Scrapbook Album Stamp Class

Evening Everyone,

Something a little different for this week, one of my ladies asked me to design a Special Card for her Mum who's going to be 90 in May this year.
So this is what I have come up with, hoping Linda and her Mum like it.

A Mini Scrapbook Album complete with a matching  Gift Box for the Mini Album.
I wanted to make sure that I only used A4 Cardstock or 11" x 8 1/2" Cardstock for my international craft friends.
So you won't need any 12" x 12" cardstock to make this album..

There's lots and lots of areas for journalling and adding photo's for memories.

Keep on opening up the pages.

You will end up with it looking like this.  Its a long album, so it was hard to photograph.

The middle section has a waterfall style section to add more photos or journalling.

The gift box will hold the album for gifting or storage of the album for memories.

I went for a spring colour combination of Watermelon wonder, Mint Macaron and Pool Party.

If you fancy making one the instructions are on the right hand side.

Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)xx

Bloomin' Love Mini Treat Bags....

Evening Everyone,

I can't seem to get enough of Blushing Bride glitter cardstock and the Bloomin' Love stamp set at the moment.  This time I used them for some Bloomin' Buds Team Gifts.

I used the Mini Treat Bag Framelit set to make the little Gift Bags.  The Love Blossom Paper Packs are perfect, they are 6" x 6" and you need one and a half pages to make a Gift Bag.

I made some matching cards as well.

I really like the thick whisper white cardstock, Where is the thick Vanilla Stampin' UP????

I look forward to giving these out, a Hand Made card is so much better than an email or text message.

These are the products I used.

Bloomin Love & Bloomin Heart Bundle Stamp Class

Afternoon Everyone,

Busy day catching up with housework and class instructions.

This week's Tuesday Stamp Class was pretty hearts, using the Bloomin Love & Bloomin Hearts Bundle.  I decided to mainly go with Birthday and Anniversary Sentiments as alot of my ladies don't send out valentines.

I went with the colour combination from the Love Blossoms paper stack, Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Garden Green and White.  The Blushing Bride glitter cardstock was added with a hint as well.

These are the samples I had on my Open House display, with the little 3d frame.  Love making those.  This one is 8" x 8" from the range.

The heart border punch was used on the two strips of white and a whole sheet of 6" x 6" of the love blossoms paper for the centre.  The centre of the wooden heart was a blushing bride bloomin heart cut in the glitter card.
Its best to cut this glitter card on the white side or the glitter will shed.  Cuts lovely though and the bigshot brush and foam set is just perfect for getting alll the little bits out.  I used the precision plate to cut with this framelit.

If you fancy playing along the instructions are on the right hand side.

Bloomin' Love Stampin' UP! Scrapbook Layout

Morning Everyone,

It was scrapbook club yesterday morning and evening, thank you all for coming along.

This month's title was Then & Now or Now & Then both worked.

I used the new Bloomin' Love Stamp set with the matching Framelits, so very pretty.

The colour combination is Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and the Blushing Bride Glitter cardstock.

I went for a patchwork layout using the Love Blossoms paper stack, with the framelit heart and flowers on the bottom.

The framelits cut out both sets of flowers and the framelit marks the flowers in the middle very pretty. Pearls finished the effect.

The flower spray was stamped behind each letter cut from the blushing bride cardstock.

The heart punch is from the itty bitty trio.

The opposite page is a project life pocket style.  The banners are cut out using the framelit in the large numbers framelit set.

The centre of the bottom corner layer was added to the blushing bride layer, looks like its embossed. The centre heart was cut out by hand.

This outer layer was popped up and the filigree heart was glue in the centre flat.

If you fancy coming along to one of my scrapbook days, please let me know,

The next one is Wednesday 17th February morning and evening.

Thanks for looking,

Rose Wonder & Rose Garden Stamp Class

Morning Everyone,

Brrr!  It's cold here today.

It was so lovely to get back to my weekly Stamp Classes yesterday, thank you all for coming along.

We started off with the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits for this week's stamp classes.

I chose two colour combinations Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky and Old Olive or Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.

The papers used are the Perfectly Artistic SAB free paper which includes lots of other colours as well.

We used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make a decent size matching gift box.

Then we finished off with a little watercolouring using just the stamped rose wonder image embossed in clear or black.

The images are all in the Rose Wonder stamp set.

If you want to play along, the instructions are available on the right hand side.

These are the products that I used in the stamp class.

Thanks for looking,

Stampin' UP! Open House 2016

Afternoon Everyone,

I had a little Open  House yesterday to kick off the New Year.

Lovely to see my ladies, thank you all for coming along.  Our favourite Chap Ken came along with his daughter as well which made my day.

I showcased a few of the Product Suites with the actual products.  It's nice to be able to see things in real life as well as samples.

I love making Christmas cards and projects but I also love Birthdays Especially.

Stampin' UP! have lots of bundles which have 15% off when purchased together.

One thing to remember is in the Sale a Bration Catalogue they give you a list of products along side the samples.  These are just an idea of how to build up your order to £45 to earn the free items.  They aren't a bundle that you have to purchase to get the freebie. You can put together any products together, as long as the list comes to £45 then you will earn the free gift.

Plus its for every £45, so for £90 you can choose two and so on.

Please be aware that a couple of them are limited so if you like them pick them first before 15th February.

These were made using the Bontantical Garden Products.
So many lovely leaves.

Fancy flowers...using just the framelits.

Have a Cuppa product suite, loving the colour combination of the papers
Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Wisteria Wonder nice and bright.

I found this little wreath in a local asda for a few pennies and put the Bloomin Heart framelit behind it cut in Blushing Bride Glitter card.

That's me for today,
Thanks for looking,
Jenny:-)

Botantical Gardens Scissor Charm Tutorial.

Good Morning Everyone,

Something a little different for you today, a little tutorial for a super lovely item in the new Spring Catalogue.  On page 27 you can find the Botantical Garden Jewels.  They make lovely scissor charms to personalise your favourite pair of snips! Stampin' up Scissors.

In the Sale a Bration brochure on page 4 and 5 there are a couple of products to co-ordinate with the Botantical Gardens Suite.

You can see the vellum layer on the bottom of the card with the sentiment stamped on top.

I really love this sentiment and font.

BOTANCIAL GARDEN JEWEL SCISSOR CHARM.

TUTORIAL...

Start with the matchbook cover.

For Measurements in Centimetres.

Take a 16.5cm x 5cm piece of cajun craze,
Score along the 16.5cm side at 2cm, 9.5cm, 10cm

For Measurements in Inches

Take a 6 1/2" x 2" piece of cajun craze.
Score along the 6 1/2" side at 3/4", 3 3/4", 4"

You will need the charm holder, I think you will find these in a beading section in a craft section of a store.  I got mine from the range.

The jump ring is opened to hold the jewel.
Close it back up with pilers.

The white layer is 7cm x 4.5cm or 2 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Use the trio corner punch to decorate the corners and the slot in the centre.

Punch the corners first and then lay the punch upside down, insert the layer centering it.
Lay your hand flat to push down the punch, carefully.

LAY  the white layer in the cover so the top is touching the second scored line.
You do not glue this layer down.

Bring up the bottom section keeping the white layer in place.
Tuck in the other end of the cover behind the bottom folded up section,
Use a hand help stapler to punch in the centre of the bottom section making sure you don't staple the folded front layer as well.
Decorate the front.

I used the Bontanical Builder Framelits to decorate in hello honey and black.

On page 26 there is a great Bundle includes,
Botantical Stamp set, Designer Paper & Framelit Dies
For £46.75
Fantastic Offer.

Not only that you will qualify for a SAB item which you could choose the Botanticals For YOU stamp set used on these cards.

Jenny:-)xx
