Garden Whimsy Boxes & Cards Stamp Class.....

This is the daytime stamp class for my ladies. This class shows you how to make a triangle box and a matching card from one sheet of cardstock. I have been doing the instructions in both metric and inches to help out. If you are like me some things work better in inches and some things work better in centimetres. So hope this helps.

The stamp sets used is Garden Whimsy and A bit of Birthday Cheer.
You can make 3 sizes of triangle boxes, just depends on the how you cut the cardstock.

This is one of the cards and matching tall triangle box.
This is the slider card with a fat triangle box to match.

I hope to get some time to make some cards to up coming birthdays, so I will upload them when they are finished. I haven't decided what stamp set to play with next.

Hope you all have a nice weekend, its meant to be very wet here!!!

Garden Whimsy Evening Stamp Class......

Where does the time go? I can't believe theres only 2 days left of this years Sale a Bration....Did you get the sets you wanted. Lovely aren't they....

I have two classes on the Garden Whimsy stamp set next week. My evening Lovelies from Lychett wanted to make the card holder, I made for my Love You Much stamp class but using the Garden Whimsy set. This is what I came I with.

The colours are Kraft, Taken with Teal and Cameo Coral which co ordinates so very well with the Pink Flamingo papers. The papers are part of Shelli's personal collection. Gorgeous patterns....

Four little cards fit inside with their envelopes. I made my own cards but you could use the Love Notes as well, they fit perfectly in the holder.

Check back later with the Day time Stamp Class Garden Whimsy Triangle Boxes and Cards.

Say it with Scallops.....

There's not much stamping going on here.....Or many layers! Very simple cards to go in this Criss Cross Box. The box is the same as my flight of the butterfly stamp class but this one fits C6 size cards and envelopes. Depending on the layers - you could get up to 6 cards and their envelopes inside.

The flowers are the 5 petal flower punch and the Boho flower punch, all punched out of textured Very vanilla cardstock.

The papers used are the very unusual Nouveau Chic Designer series, together with Sage Shadow and Grey cardstock.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Wedding Tri-Shutter Album/Card.....

Remember the Wedding Invitations I showed you I had designed for my friend Lesley's daughter....

Well Lesley has been asking me to show her how to make a Tri-Shutter Album as she wants to make one for her daughter's upcoming Wedding. This is what I came up with to show her on Monday at Craft Club. I tried to keep the same theme as the invitation. This is just an idea for Lesley to have some inspiration....

The inside is plain but decorated with the lovely Bridesmaid papers and Very Vanilla cardstock with just a hint of Pink Passion as this the actual colour of the Bridesmaid dresses.

The heart die cuts go behind one another to close the centre section. This would look much better when the photo's are in place.

I made a gift box for the Tri-Shutter Album as well in the Pink Passion cardstock.

The stamp set is Love You Much and Curvy Verses. The ribbon is squashed in this photo - Doh!

Love Flip Album.....

This is another Flip Album similar to my class on the I Wish one. This one uses half a pack of Love Stories Scrappin Kit. The colours are so refreshing and spring like - Have you seen the snowdrops yet?

The ladies yesterday made one for a Wedding Gift and One was to remember a Lovely Child. They really do make smashing gifts and take about 2 hours to complete.
It is a 6 x 6 album when finished and I have done a tutorial for a gift box. Look at the left hand side of my blog under labels and find Christmas Jingle - That's where you will find the instructions for the Gift Box and Lid.
The Album opens up just like a book. There are such beautiful stickers in the Stampin Up Scrappin Kits, they are very weighty, more like sticky cardstock.
When the album is opened up fully, You will get to the middle. All the white squares are spaces for your photos. The Mr & Mrs stamp set was also used to add a bit of stamping.
This is the middle.
If you want the instructions for the album, they are very similar to my I Wish Class on the right hand side, which is a Christmas Version. The Christmas Jingle Flip Album can be found under the labels on the left hand side along with the gift box instructions.

Love You Much Wedding Invitations......

Where oh Where did a week go!!! My friend Lesley asked me last Thursday to come up with a couple of samples of Wedding Invitations for her daughter who is getting Married in July.

I made this one, one with Together Forever and one using an old sale a bration set polka dot hearts.

Lesley's daughter chose this one using the Love Much stamp set and the lovely bridemaids papers......

I embossed the bridemaid paper with an embossing folder, Gosh! that paper is gorgeous. Well the number was 40 at first, so bit by bit over the weekend in between digging at the allotment, helping put up some fencing and redoing my ribbon storage by Sunday evening 40 was nearly complete except for the inserts and glittering etc.

A quick phone call and the number went up to 80!!
So yesterday after my Regular Tuesday Class, some of my ladies stayed behind and helped finish them off.

I have a class today making a Love Album which I will show you later today.

Garden Dream Thank You's.....

I made this card for a very Special Lady, called Jean. She has been our Craft Club Leader for the last few years and she has made our club very special. Jean is such a lovely, funny lady. She also comes to my classes on a Tuesday and she does have me in stitches, she has fantastic one liners, that are just up my street. A Big Huge Thank You to you Jean for making our Craft Club such a Happy Place to come to on Monday Evenings. All the very best wishes to Alexi, who is taking over with Christine and Jan.

The stamp set is a Gorgeous one called Gardens Dream. It can be earnt by holding a Level 3 Workshop. I used Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow. The bird is close to cocoa.
The stamping rolled over to the inside of the card.
The flower is a two step one if you so wish, the rose red flower is just stamped and cut out and the other flower was stamped firstly in pretty in pink and then the out line image over the top in rose red. I stamped another rose red and cut out the middle.

While I had the stamp set out I made all my ladies a Thank You card for coming to our Stampin UP Extravaganza on Saturday. These are all 9.5cm x 9.5cm square.

Right then,
Got to dash as I helped my son on his paper round this morning and now I am behind doing the wages. Better get them done or the Men won't be happy with me come Thursday!!!
Check back this afternoon, for the winner of the Blog Candy as Someone is '1' away from the correct answer!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for looking,

The doors opened at just after 9.45, we were nearly on time, baring in mind we couldn't get into the hall until 9am, I thought we did amazing. Some of my ladies were trying to sneak in the bad door, cheeky devils.......They were ushed out very quickley - little monkeys.

Registration took place and Everyone got a pack which was all handmade - Of course.
Everything was co-ordinated with the flight of the butterfly stamp set, in Pretty in Pink, Lavender Lace, Almost Amethyst and the Tea Party papers. In each pack was an Itinery of the day for everyone to see what would be happening.
We had four tables and everyone were told which table they were on. Everyone's place setting had their own covered water bottle with sweetie holder attached (butterfly on these ones as well!), everyone had a place setting, the table had its own place setting with the number on, the sweet box ( a hint this had 16 butterflies on them, one on each table - Are you counting???)

We did instructions for all the projects,

This is the raffle prize table and the Prize patrol table......
We made any one who won a prize to stand up and shout I'm a Winner!!!! Well just a bit of fun! Got to get into the spirit of things hee hee.
We had three tables and stands of creations to show everyone - I just didn't realise how much stuff I actually make. Not sure where to put them all!!!
And Tracey NO! I am not bringing them all to your workshop on Friday - Before you Ask!!!! hee hee.
These are some of the pictures of all the lovely ladies beavering away at the projects - Hope you enjoyed them. The table in the background are my lovely Evening Class ladies plus the Lovely Sue and Di from Dorset Stampers Craft Club. You all worked so hard to finish your projects.

These lovely ladies are my regular Tuesday Girls. I love them all, they really make my Tuesday an enjoyable day. Thanks Girls.

This is Jo's Lovely project. A Love Album/Slider card - So Beautiful. Jo and I shared a room, when we went to Germany for the Stampin UP Convention. We stayed up on the last night and chatted until 1am, planning an Event and finally it took place. It was alot of planning and organising but all about Crafting! Which is why I signed up to be a Demonstrator - For the love of crafting and to Inspire, Share and Create with like minded others.

Jo takes amazing photo's - My boys (sons plus hubbie) all muck around when i try and take a photo! hee hee
