Hello! Sorry its been a few days not updating the blog, but Jo and I were preparing for our Stampin Up Extravaganza Day, which was today......

A Big Thank You to all our Lovely Ladies who attended, 28 in total. Big Wave :-)

You alldid brilliantly with your Projects - Hope you all liked them and we know we worked you all so very Hard! What a way to spend a Saturday......

Want to come to our next one in July? Email to get your name down.

We did two projects in the morning and One project in the Afternoon.

This is the afternoon Project. The stamp set is called On a Pedestal. We had four tables and each table did a different version of the same project. One is Bold brights, One is Earth Elements, One is Rich Regals, One is Soft Subtles.
All the cards are exactly the same but the images were stamped in the different colour families.
This one is Bold Brights, using Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Pixie Pie, YoYo Yellow, Real Red.

This is the Earth Elements, using Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red.

This is the Rich Regals, using Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Rose Red, So Saffron.

This is the Soft Subtles, using Lavender Lace, Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana, Real Red.

This is My Project for the morning. Using the Good Egg Stamp Set.

We made a Treat Bag and a Mini Side Step Card.

We made the So Saffron set but the others are Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink.
The papers are the Tea party designer series pack.

To Make the Side Step Cards.......
Cut cardstock 4" x 8"
With the 4" side running along the top, use the fiskars cutter and line up the left side at 1 1/4".
Then cut down FROM 2" to 7 3/4"
Turn the cardstock, with the 8" side running along the top,
Score from the cut line to the other edge at 3/4", 1 1/2", 2 3/4", 4", 6"
On the 4" score line, Score the whole width of the cardstock, This is the fold to fold the card in half.
Fold the cardstock in half at the 4" score line, then concertina the step section, by folding mountain, valley, mountain, valley, mountain, for the steps.

The measurements for the Treat Bag is 3 1/8" x 11 1/2".
Score along the 11 1/2" side at 4 3/4" & 6 3/4".
Punch a window using the scallop circle punch in one of the long sections, this will be the front.
Cut a piece of Certainly Celery 3 1/8" x 3 1/4". Along the 3 1/4" side score at 1 5/8". Use the eyelet border punch on both edges. Fold in half and wrap this over the top of the base. I sandwiched the small treat bag with chocolate eggs inbetween the So Saffron base, fold over the Certainly Celery topper and use the Crop a dile to punch two holes for the ribbon to go through.
The ribbon is pink taffeta.
This is the side view of the Step Card. When folded it measures 4" x 4".

You can see the chocolate Egg treat bag inside on this view.

Jo will be uploading her project here, So Pop over to jo's blog and take a look. I don't have a photo myself.
We were so busy setting up the tables, that I forgot to take a minute to photo all the table settings and lunch bags.......Hope you liked them. Got to love the butterflies!
Right my legs are about to drop off, so thats enough from me today.
Check back Monday for the Good Egg Stamp Class.

Flight of the Butterfly Workshop Samples

These are the samples for a Workshop at Carol's tomorrow.....She asked to make Flight of a Butterfly cards. So I revamped my Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Class to these colours. I also made a picture using the Butterfly Punch and the Tea Party papers.
The buttons are the Cafe Latte Buttons and clear rhinestone brads.

Such Spring like colours, the papers are beautiful.

This set is exactly like my Flight of the Butterfly stamp class but I changed the papers to Tea Party instead of Bella Beau and the Cardstock is Lavendar Lace, Pretty in Pink and Almost Amethyst.

I used the Boho Blossum punch for some flowers with a pretty in pink brad in the centre.

The Box holds 6 cards and depending on the layering, it will hold their envelopes as well.

Check back later for my On a Pedestal Stamp Class.

Love You Much Exploding Cards.....

These are some of the bits I demonstrated at our Craft Club Sale a Bration Workshop last night.

I used the Love You Much stamp set. On a Previous post on Sunday, I showed you the rest of the cards, using this colour combination. Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla and Real red. The cards at the back all have a fun insert - An Explosion Card.....

I added some punched out hearts to the inside and the paper is from the Jackpot paper pack. You have to use paper to do this as cardstock would be too thick really.

To make best use of a piece of 12" x 12" of paper. Cut the paper into Four, ie Either 6" x 6" or 15cm x 15cm.
Step 1. Fold the paper diagonally from corner to corner.

Step 2. Turn and to this again.

Step 3. You will end up with the cross in the middle as below.
Step 4. Having the paper facing you bring down the top edge, and marry up with the bottom corners.
Step 5. You will end up with the piece looking like this a smaller folded triangle.
Step 6. Now bring in the corners to the centre, as below.
Step 7. Turn over and do the same to the back, bring in the corners to the centre.
Step 8. Your paper will look like this.
Step 9. Now open up the top slightly and tuck in the corners. As shown on the right. Do this to all four corners.
Step 10. There you are finished. Add this to the inside of your card...

You could add some confetti inside for a bit of fun!!!! But you might not be very popular with the mess......:-)

Add double sided tape to the top and bottom of the outside. Add to the inside of your card, with the point up against the score line in the middle of your card, not going over it though! Then close you card and the top will stick in the correct position. If you remember to take the backing of the double sided tape!!!!
If you are using designer paper, choose which side you want on the inside and then when folding it make sure that is on the inside of the first fold.

Card Sizes then by cutting 12" x 12" into four......

The card base needs to be 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" square to use a 6" x 6" piece of paper folded up.

The card base needs to be 9.5cm x 9.5cm square to use a 15cm x 15cm piece of paper folded up.

If you need to make a 4" x 4" or 10.5cm x 10.5cm You will need the paper to be 7" x 7" or 18cm x 18cm but you could only get one from a piece of 12 x 12.

Hope this Helps.

Love You Much Stamp Class......

This the Project we will be doing for my Love You Much stamp class. Love You Much stamp set is a lovely stamp set with an added Bonus of a matching Punch the Heart to Heart Punch.

In the Class we will be making the Card Holder and four 3" x 3" cards.

This is the side view of the Card Holder, which has a card and envelope in each section. I used the Very Vanilla Envelopes from the Love Notes in the catalogue.
This is the inside of the Card Holder with the cards in each section.

A Bonus Project in the Stamp Class instructions is a matching Chocolate Holder. Which is perfect for After Eight mints instead of cards.

These would be lovely to put on the table if you intend to cook your loved one a Lovely Meal for Valentines.........
Or you could change these to Christmas Chocolate Holders......

Love You Much

Hello Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of extra posts this week, but I've been making lots of new projects for An Allday Stampin' UP! Extravaganza me and Jo are doing on Saturday 30th January. All the places are sold now but we will be doing more so watch this space!!!

All the projects we will be making we be on our Blog's on the 1st February........

Back to this card......The stamp set is Love You Much - Don't you just love the little birds. We have had tons of birds in our garden the last couple of weeks and when we went to the allotment this morning we were mobbed by three robins! Looking for the worms in our compost bins......

The colours used are Chocolate chip, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla. The paper is from the Jackpot paper pack. The Love image was stamped in Chocolate chip and coloured in using blender pens and the ink in the lid of the ink pad. Just squeeze the ink pad while it is closed and in will go in the lid. Pick this up using a blender pen.......Lovely. Dazzling Diamond Glitter was added using the two way glue pen.

The birds were stamped in chocolate chip and punched out using the 1 3/4" circle punch. I did some paper piecing with the jackpot paper . The hearts were stamped on chocolate chip with chocolate chip ink and punched out using the Heart to Heart punch.......

This is the insert for th card. The sentiment is from Sealed with a Kiss.

I decided to make a gift box to go with the card. All the same colours.

For the top I used the 1 3/4 circle punch on a piece of 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" to place the Love Birds in the middle. I used the pricking mat and pricking tool to prick around the circle and stamped all over with the three heart stamp.

Again the paper is Jackpot.......
I wrapped a piece of 1 1/4" chocolate chip striped ribbon around the middle before popping up all the layers. The lid and base were both stamped with the three heart stamp from Love You Much stamp set.
Right then, Hopefully I can get my next class typed up this evening, so if you want to see my Love Much Stamp Class Project, Check back Tomorrow.
