Beates Weekend Challenge #22

Beate is doing her Weekend Challenge again, pop over to her fantastic blog and have a look at all her great cards.....

You have to make a card using this layout and then upload your card on your blog or on splitcoaststampers.

I didn't have much time yesterday as we went to visit family in Weymouth and we popped to Dorchester. The Farmers Market was on and they had the christmas tree display up and running in the garden centre at Poundbury. They have some cute little penguins in the display that were dancing to the music!!! When I came back I remembered this stamp I got from Hobbycraft......

I used Real Red for the base card. I will try and make some christmas cards this week not using red and green ......I said try!!!

The paper is the dovercraft christmas pack 12 x 12 size not the smaller packs. The words are some clear stamps from Stampendous called borders, which I got last year from Glitter pot shop. I used the snowflake embossing folder for the half circle.

The stamp is only the outline of the image, so to get the black part on the penguin, I coloured this in with a black embossing pen from hobbycraft and embossed in with crystal embossing powder. The rest is coloured in using marvy pens.

Hope you have a great day,
Jenny:-)xx

Ooooh he's so cute. Love it as always. Went to Dorchester? I thought you were having a Pyjama Day? or is that today? Hee hee you will now have to explain to everyone what your Pyjama Day is like.
Luv Mary (hope I'm still your friend)

Thank you for your comments on my blog. I wish you luck with your Stampin' Up! in the UK. I have had so much fun with the company and look forward to each opportunity to work with their products. Thank you again for your comments and hopefull, we can keep in touch. I would love to see you sign the guestbook on my page so we can "put your town on the map". It is always fun to see where everyone is from and how worldwide our craft is... I love the penguin card and the sketch. I am going to use the sketch today for one, (or more), of my projects.
